Cripes..!

What a different team for the 2nd half! I was there tonight thinking that this was to be the same old story (North upper- so I didn't see many of our 1st half chances!).

What confirmation that Ramos has tactical balls of steel. I love BMJ, but there's no way he would have taken the decisions Ramos took tonight.

Nobody thought of bringing THud on (none near me anyway). After getting him angry with talk of a weight problem - he made pass after pass, and although lacking in pace, he didn't look like he was lacking motivation (whcich I think he was guilty of previously). I think we all wanted to see Boateng at some point too - but only when three goals up- and that didn't look like happening! When he got a nod he showed his awareness and positioning, his shots weren't fab - but they were shots nevertheless!

Bent (not worth 16.5mio, IMHO) was a revelation, better on the last defender than Berbs or Keane - he went up for everything and caused their defenders so much grief.

Malbranque was busy displaying his best performance for a long time (I know - injured).

I was worried for Robbo in the first half, and I think he takes great confidence from the Paxton end - 'coz he don't get that sort of banter from the north upper. Actually, north upper - give him a chant or two and see what happens - we didn't get a thumbs-up all night coz we were wining. at him..!

Lee deserved the hook at half time, Jenas would have had another 20 mins , but f*ck it.

Doom-mongerers are not permitted to state Aalborgs reputation. We have to start somewhere, and we have most certainly started with Ramos.

I'm buzzin. I'm chuffed to bits. I'm Tottenham!
It couldn't have got much worse, but this is defo a better teamwork ethic.
COYS!

I'd love to hear your opinions...

You missed our home leg against Sevilla last season, then…

JJ was injured. Do try and keep up.

Glory glory hallelujah - a true glory night at the Lane indeed

From memory the first time we've ever won a Euro game from being 2 down (not tie I emphasise - I rember being 4-0 down to Gornik in 62)

Oh, it was glorious! It was a scrum in the Paxton when the second and third goals went in. Beautiful to be part of that! Another memory to add to my ever-growing collection.

For me, it's too soon to say anything about Ramos (because I didn't know anything about him except for hearsay before he arrived), but I'm very encouraged. Bollocks of steel!

Great game. Definitely felt like this was a game that we would not have won under Jol.
