I know I'm not a regular poster on this forum so you can make your own judgements about this.

Just had a phone call from my best mate who was in the pub with Jamie's Dad. Whilst he was there, Jamie called his dad to give him the news that the team for tomorrow had been announced to the squad and that he was in the starting line-up!

Make of this what you will, and you don't have to believe a word if you wish. Could this tho mean that Steed has been dropped (which I doubt as he has been playing reasonably well recently) or maybe that Jenas has not recovered from the knock he supposedly has and he will be starting centre mid. Slightly alarming if that is the case, as this would mean our centre mid for tomorrow would be KPB and O'Hara.

the most likley is JJ not being fit, but if Ramos has sense it wont be KPB and O`Hara in the center but Steed and KPB there and O`Hara out wide

not totaly sure i belive that he will start, but if he does thats how i would see it going

Or, more likely if he is to start (which i'm sceptical of, but thanks for stopping in to let us know anyway) he will be out on the left, with Steed dropping into the centre to cover for the absent JJ (if that is also the case). Personally, fitting in O'Hara, i think Wendy will be juggling the idea of Lennon, Steed, KPB, O'Hara across the middle, or maybe give Teemu or Thudd the run out in place of KPB, but it seems the flying fin isn't really in Wendy's plans :(

Hadn't thought of switching steed to the centre, but that would probably seem more likely.

Either that or Juande is opting for a 4-5-1 with KPB, O'Hara and another as the three central midfielders (possibly Thud) with Lennon and Steed pushing on to help Berba up front???

More likely that JJ is injured, and Malbranque would be played in his preferred position for the first time in a Spurs shirt.

Ramos would have much more sense than to start KPB and O'Hara in CM together. Hardly an ounce of PL experience between them, and it's against Arsenal. It'll be O'Hara out-wide, and Malbranque used in either a 3 up top, or in an advanced midfield role.

being so dependant on his left foot it seems silly to play him inside of Steed on the wing - they'd just get in each others way. Steed is crying out to get a shot in the attacking midfield role - his pace and drive to get forward will, hopefully, keep the defence busy and away from Dimi and wee Keano to break.

Just did a bit of reading on o'hara cos i haven't seen much of him, although he's been impressive in the last couple of games for the short time hes played. I just found out that he used to be a gooner!

From FIFA.com (old article - 2003) 'England Under-17 midfielder Jamie O'Hara has made the switch to Tottenham from Arsenal'

'First it was Sol Campbell, then Rohan Ricketts, and now Jamie O'Hara has done it too. "It" being the previously unthinkable....a move across North London...'

Not much info on the site though - didn't explain the circumstances, maybe he just hated them and knew deep down he was a yid. I think he was 16 or 17 at the time.

Well well, a start against his former club could be on the cards.

Yeah, and he's always, always been one that our youth coaches appear to have rated.

Something you won't find out on any website though, so exclusive ITK to this one in the last transfer window, i think (and still my only bit of ITK to date!) - Jamie O'Hara cheated at his home economics GCSE! Well, probably not Home Ec, but whatever the equivilant of it was when he got there - textiles? home makery? f*ck knows, but he cheated - copied the girl he used to work next to, and that's custard

Disgusting.

I think he should be fined two weeks' wages and demoted back to the reserves. What sort of example does this send out to youngsters who follow the game?

Previously unthinkable? hadn't Pat Jennings and a couple of others made such a move years before I was even a twinkle in my old boys eyes?

Cheers for the info.

It does leave me a little concerned that our midfield will have 2 very inexperienced players in KPB and O'Hara but, fortune sometimes favours the brave.

Hopefully (if the info is accurate) it is just a bold tatical move rarther then a forced changed so that we will still have more options at our disposal for a big game in which we have already had plenty of options releaved from us

if that's the case does that mean that boateng will be the deeper lying of both him and malbranque?
that's a fair amount of responsibility to put on his shoulders, as a large part of us managing to to get these results have been due the awesome performances of jj in that slightly withdrawn CM position and making a heck of a lot of last-ditched tackles, some saving almost certain goals.

without jj it's going to be even more of a mission than it already was, but hey, we've got some confidence going now and so provided we frustrate them and don't concede early on, we may have a chance of getting any sort of result.
much depends on berba though. COYS

also want to say that if true, it will be a huge test for the lad. until now he's been used as sub in the last 10-15 mins of a game, when the game is being stretched and there's a bit more room and therefore time to pick a pass (which he's bloody good at too).

he'll definitely find it a lot more of a challenge if he starts, but if he can come through it with some credit, we may see a future tottenham midfield regular.

Could it be that we are going for a 451. Would be spot on if so. The gooners have been playing 451 so there's no way we will beat them if we don't at least compete in midfield.

is jenas definitely out?

if not and o'hara does start tomorrow, then i would expect ramos to go o'hara left, jj and steed in the middle and lennon right. its not the same obviously but it reminds of man u's old midfield setup. someone with a great peg, beckham and o'hara, wing wizardry, lennon and giggs, and two hard working midfielders, one more defensive than the other and one more offensive than the other. no one expects us to win, and i would admire it immensly if ramos started like that tomorrow. i'm so optimistic for tomorrow and think we will give a good acount of ourselves. we're gonna lose but i'm so fucking optimistic

Don't forget, we have Huddlestone and Teemu, both able to play in that defensive midfield role, but as there are question marks over both their stamina rates, and we know that Wendy isn't shy to make subs when needed, so it wouldn't surprise me to see him make a change in the middle at half time, just to get a fresh set of legs in there to keep up with the pace of the Woolwichs central setup.

Yep, Ramos is going to leave out three from four out of Berbatov, Keane, Bent and Defoe in order to play Jamie and the Fresh Prince. That is going to happen.

Must mean Jenas is out?

can't see Jaunde leaving out Malbers, or the Prince.

I think this means Jamie will play central though, Malbranque is a bit light weight to be in the centre against the Arse. and if that is the case, then that probably means Teemu will be at Right back

So team could be ____________Robbo________________________

TT__________Chimbo________________Kaboul________Wipey____

Lennon___________KPB____________O'Hara__________Malbers___

_____________Keane_____________Berba_____________________

he'd be well up for that (hopefully not too hyped up ala Gazza) against his old muckers
