Yeah same, £50, 6.5% increase...inflation is 4.5% so it's just profiteering again by the club...if there's one thing they know how to do, it's make money!

Do people seriously ever expect these prices not to go up? I find it a bit silly that people end up moaning every year.

Nic, we know they'd go up, but why 2% above inflation?

So they've gone up by 6.5% right?

There's been a 2.5% increase in VAT, so technically they've therefore only gone up by 4% i.e. the club only get 4% of the 6.5% increase.

That's below inflation, though admittedly inflation has been skewed upwards by the impact the VAT increase has had on that measure.

So, excluding the impact of the VAT rise, it's probably about par with inflation.

I'm the first to have a go at this sort of thing but I have to say I think theyre being reasonably fair, I expected em to go up far more than they did last year after we went from mid table crap to cl qualifiers but they didnt and in fairness we did get CL games included even though the t&cs say they arent. The VAT increase obviously makes it look worse but £820 to watch one of the best 8 teams on the continent:):):):):) seems reasonable!
TBH id say its worth it just to avoid being one of the 20,000 ppl trying to buy Madrid tickets at the same time.

We got the young boys game and the arsenal carling cup game included which was cool. Dunno, just seems £50 increase is a lot considering we won't get CL for next year!
