Chelsea V Leeds 1970 FA cup final and the replay at Old Trafford, it was brutal. I think it's on You Tube, give it a look it will make last nice game look like a Disney film.
Just saw a 5 minute replay video. How awful was Chelsea's tackling on the first goal. Holy shit! They completely whiffed on about 5 studs up slide challanges:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Probably a good thing that Alli was out for this one. I can't even begin to imagine what sorts of stuff he would doing in such a game.

This team has no experience of any sort of title challenge. A Scott Parker or even a Michael Carrick on the pitch for us tonight would have helped us along the way to winning the game

The Fighting was the players way of dealing with it because they didn't know how do it any other way

To those disagreeing with what I've said here, what exactly do you disagree with? Just interested to know.

for my whole adult life we have been weak, flaky and totally lacking in balls and belief. At times my sons' sunday league team has played with more determination and professionalism than THFC. This team has a completely different feel to it and I LOVE IT.

we all know it went over the top on Monday - but if you have aggression and determination and a good manager it can be channelled and controlled. If you don't have it to begin with the only solution is to change the squad.

I love the fact that we went to Chav Central with a f@@k you attitude, weren't intimidated and were prepared to be nasty.

One of my best friends is a gooner - he said this team's attitude reminded him of their teams' mentality 12-13 years ago, and he wished their squad was more like ours.

We aren't scared of anyone anymore and we have a healthy contempt for our opponents.

Poch needs to emphasis the necessity of controlled aggression and being a bit smart. Man U under Fergie were masters at it.

Work colleagues telling me how they lost respect for us after the Chelsea game. It's hilarious. Most people have gone from taking the piss out of us for being soft, to criticising our tenacity the other night. It was unprofessional and showed a lack of discipline yes, but absolutely 100% warranted. I loved it. And I felt really proud.

So to my colleagues I said this....'if it was a few years ago and Fergies Utd side were in our position playing a side who had publicly declared they didn't want us to win, how would they react'?....suddenly they can't answer, as they know Fergies old Utd side would've reacted exactly the same as we did. The likes of Neville, Scholes, Keane etc. And that's why I feel proud. Because I feel we have built something special. The you kick my mate I'll kick you attitude. And it reminds of Utd at their peak.

The difference is we're still on the up.

I get it, I really do.

There is fighting for things, and then there is a line where it's brutal or seemingly kicking for the sake of kicking.

Difficult to defend in my opinion as it looked like we were more intend in hurting them physically for the things they've said about us, rather than actually winning.

Thats the way it looked to the majority that watched it, go have a look around the forums.

Fact remains, Leicester would have got at least a point at Everton this weekend to win the title anyway, they have really shown how to close out games, we haven't.

We lost it at West Brom, rather than against Chelsea though, West Brom got physical with us, we couldn't respond in that game.

Still, this bodes well for the future believe it or not, we'll learn from this experience, emotionally and mentally.

Now, just go out and win at the weekend and secure 2nd so no-one else laughs at us imploding.

Other teams are trying to put us down at the moment because they're genuinely worried about us, when was the last time we could say that?

All our opponents fans criticising our players, wait till the Euros and they see that passion and determination in an England shirt. Then they'll understand why we are so proud.

Let's just hope none of the other nations we're up against have noticed that the Spurs contingent are easy to wind up.

This ref report is a bit shit isn't it?

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...mot-gallaghers-verdict-on-chelsea-v-tottenham

These bits in particular...

INCIDENT: Eric Dier is booked for fouling Eden Hazard

SCENARIO: Hazard is trying to make progress across the field from left to right and Dier comes across him, timing his tackle badly and taking the Belgian out with his left foot. Clattenburg issues a yellow card to the Tottenham player.

I thought Dier won the ball here? Tackle was perfect.

also..

INCIDENT: Eric Dier avoids a booking for his tackle on Cesc Fabregas

SCENARIO: Lamela loses possession and a loose ball breaks with Fabregas and Dier both pursuing it. Fabregas gets a touch on it first and plays a pass towards Hazard, before Dier comes in and tackles with his left foot, connecting with Fabregas' right ankle after the ball has been played. Clattenburg waves play on to allow Chelsea the advantage they have in possession and Ryan Mason takes Hazard out, earning himself a booking.

"Lamela loses possesion" errrrr, i'm pretty sure he gets hacked down and then Dier crushes Cesc??

The amount of times Chelsea players are sticking their heads in or pushing our players after challenges and none of them get booked for it.

Our players told to move away from the ref, yet they always have 2 or three still there.

It's ridiculous how in at least half of those incidents Chelsea players are the aggressors or instigators, yet every one of them ends up with a Spurs player being booked. Clattenburg really did have an awful game and his refusal to punish Chelsea at all in the first half allowed the game to descend to the levels it did in the second half.

Every single rag in this country is either talking about a points deduction or claiming that Dembele is going to get a 10 game ban lol!

All these Arsenal/Chelsea/West Ham journos trying to twist the FA's arm into doing something ridiculous to us.

We all know why they want us to have a points deduction, so their shitty failed clubs can finish above us.

There is a ridiculous amount of resistance to our threat of becoming an elite club.

Because they know that we have the infrastructure in place to be massive going forwards and it ruins the agenda based media narrative, there is a reason why sky mainly employs Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal pundits.

They have huge fanbases and the billionaire owners want to keep them relevant even when they are doing shit, they can't be talking about us or having us form any kind of success, a club that has done things the right way and they will find any way possible to make sure we don't become a regular threat.

And then they think once Chelsea, Liverpool, United, Arsenal are back in the top four it will be "Yeah, same old spurs, flirt with success then do nothing, that's why they will always be spurs"

What they don't realise is, times are really changing and they are panicking now, hence why we have had such a huge campaign of hatred against us, they don't mind us every so often having a flirt with success but the idea of us being a consistent threat? They will never support that.

So Saurez can racially abuse and bite opponents and get less of a ban? Can't see it happening if I'm honest. Maybe a 5 game will be the order of the day I reckon.
