Paper tickets

Does anyone know why the Tickets for the game vs real Madrid are paper based and not on the membership cards?

They're on the card but at the checkout you could opt for a paper ticket.

This happened for the AC Milan match and apparantly news spread that people had been printing the same tickets out multiple times and flogging the paper tickets outside the ground.....

Yeah, the staff were more concerned that the barcode scanners would allow admission to all of these people! When we walked into our block the bloke working there said that everyone with a paper ticket would have to also show the membership card used to buy the ticket.

Sounds like the system maybe wasn't tested previously! We could have seen a few thousand more people in the ground!

It's about time they got people outside the ground stopping those ****s, I mean touts.

It should be illegal to sell tickets greater than face value. Websites like this: http://www.livefootballtickets.com/...otspur-v-real-madrid-tickets/london-9099.html shouldn't be allowed to operate. It's a disgrace. :evil:

Saw plenty of people walk out of the ticket office on Friday with paper tickets and over the phone the mrs was told they will be posted out to us and not loaded onto our membership cards. I find it crazy as this just opens the door for fake tickets a touts heaven

unless its a money making scheme by the club. and the touts are employed by spurs to fund the new stadium?
