Do we as a club really want to be involved with somebody like Paratici? Levy has some serious thinking to do. There is also the issue that Conte seems to want to return to Italy for personal reasons. Such a shame after the progress last season.
Well yes. If we got £20m for Winks, he would be called a genius. That's his job.

Financial responsibility is ultimately the CFO. No way the CFO didn't know what was going on.

This case would get blown apart if CAS one would assume so let’s stop worrying about it

As usual everything alleged.
How did Man C get Haarland for 60 mill euros (transfermarket figure) , underpaid by millions compared to some other deals. Chelsea paid 65 mill euros for Cucurella, so how do you put a value on transfer fees which in most cases are never announced.

Paratici at the game last night alongside DMC and still no announcement from the club , reckon this will go to appeal and get reversed .

We’ve got no problem if the case is based on “market value”. If there’s evidence or testimony from Atalanta saying they told him they’d accept a lower price than we paid…

I thought we bought Romero from Atalanta.
We did , Italian football dealings are all dodgy , he was signed by Atlanta on Aug 5 2021 for 17 mill euros after a loan from Juve finished then was loaned to us on Aug 6 2021 , that's according to transfermarket.

Sells Winks and then unavailable for 30 months. Doesn’t sound like genius to me.

Why would Levy sanction that though? Unless it drags down the price of another signing. However in that case what’s the point?

In my hypothetical, Levy doesn't know.

Ok. Hypothetically I understand your point.

I just don’t buy that it could occur as there are too many people involved in any deal
