Not sure if anyone else follows Dean Parretts mum on twitter (Kalitsa off this forum) but she has confirmed that he has been released by Spurs!

What a shame for the lad - seemed such a prospect but just hasnt kicked on.

My mate plays for palace where he is now on trial. Has been playing him on FIFA. Says he's a top bloke and has fitted right in.

Says so far they have all been pretty impressed with him in his footballing ability as well. Will have to wait and see...

Yeah was brought up a couple weeks ago, heard it was an attitude problem, no idea if that's the case though.

I saw him play once for England U16s and he was the best player on the pitch. Shame it didn't work out for him at Spurs.

Err this is was discussed in the Parrett thread and the U21 thread. Im not sure of Attitude problems but something happened after Charlton loan with just didnt lead to him kicking on tbh. He was Charltons best player but he didnt get that form again and it wasn't until this season U21's that he showed that ability. Im surprised we didnt let him find a club and agree a buy back clause just in case but he could still become a very good player yet tbh.
