Ok, so all you saying this is crap because he's not in Spain - i will have to assume that you are privvy to information i'm not as just because he's not there, it means he's offski?

I said it a few times in other threads - right now, aside from any footballing reasons, he's right in the middle of this leisure complex debacle - he sunk tons of cash into a soccer school type place at, and invested in, this massive project and now it looks like the planning permission was mickey mouse and it's all going to be levelled with no compensation, no insurance payout nothing - he stands to lose millions.

Aside from that, it's been questioned as to how his missus is doing after the birth of their kid (2nd?) and someone i remember began the discussion of PND - this could also be a reason he's not actually with the squad...

Until we actually know where he IS, rather than where he isn't, we should just shrug and continue monitoring the progress of those we can see and just wait to find out some news when it comes along...

Don't care if you got it straight from his mum, dad and favourite uncle, Ramos has bombed the guy out the club, its just a matter of time before a decent club comes in for him.

For Christ sakes Bostock is barely 16 and was taken to Spain, how humiliating is that for Robbo..

thats it f***ing hold me back

good to hear.

Although not surprised, I thought more people would actually take this as a positive.

'Zactly. For all the faults we've seen over the last two seasons Robbo will still be better than any backup GK kid or old pro we can sign. Proven in the prem, great reactions, and the best distribution of any GK in the divsion. All I want is for Gomes to set a new level for him to hit and then for Robbo to put up a fight. It's great news in terms of the squad.

And he's scored more than Zokora :)

Is it true about his wife being ill? How do u know that? I knew that his baby son was ill because he said after the Carling Cup win but there was no mention about his wife. There were complications during the birth though, I remember that being mentioned.
If he is still having family problems the last thing he'll want to do is move to the other side of the country.

I'll be a bit suprised if he stays because it seems as though the club has been slowly pushing him out. Maybe I just think that because of what's been said in the media though...
However, Id be more than happy to have him as a 2nd choice keeper as I don't think he'd do a Cerny and just settle for 2nd place, he'd want to provide serious competition 4 Gomes. Plus he does love Spurs. (He also gave me a bottle of bubbly after the CC final. lol)

hmm, pretty long post. I better get back to work.....

Rocha is shit and even Hull bottle this one on the basis he's too short, which is an excuse for being shit and having a high salary, for which we can't afford for someone who ain't that great

I didn't think Rocha was shit. I was suprised Ramos seemed to not rate him at all. I thought after a didgy initial couple of games, Rocha was always pretty solid.

Settle down buddy, it's not worth it.

Nothing would make me happier than seeing Robbo winning a battle with Gomes to be our No1. More than anything so all the fans that appear to have deserted him can have it shoved in their faces at every opportunity.

I've deserted him, but I'd gladly have it shoved back in my face, as I really like Robbo and would love him to everyone wrong.

I don't think he's up to it either, but I'd love to be proved wrong too. Unfortunately it's going to take Gomes to be below par for him to get his chance and that can't be good for us overall.

I think people underestimate Robbo. I think life has just got in the way for him and it all needs to balance out. Personally I would love for Robbo to stay on as no. 2 keeper and fight because I have a gut feeling that if we sell him, in about 3 to 4 years he will come good, and I mean seriously good, and we would have lost serious money on him.

So you guys like to hang around with men in car parks???

Whatever floats your boats I guess...

PS. I never said I don't like Robbo as a guy, just that any of you who are still denying that Ramos has kicked him out are deluding yourselves. Just like you did, at the end of the season when you thought he would stay as number one...etc etc

Robbo is a decent keeper. He has talent but we can all see for whatever reason he has gone off the boil a bit (ok more than a bit). Maybe having a very good keeper to work along side in the form of Gomes will help Robbo get some form back.

It wont hurt the club to have both keepers. We will be playing many games next season and hopefully a couple of good cup runs - well cup wins is better - will give both keepers a lot of playing time.

My guess is that if Robbo does not become part of the suggested Bentley deal then he'll start the season at the club. But will he have the No. 1 Shirt?

Also if you guys want to do this guy in the car park then can i suggest you get in contact with Stan Collymore as he knows about people and car parks. He may even help you out!
