BEN on FTL is saying that there is a 30% chance of Berbs staying (Barca wont pay and the relationship with Man Utd has completely broke down). Keano 100% gone.

Now is that the real BEN? Has FTL got it's logins sorted out yet?

A good move for Robbo. I have no doubt he'll be back in the England line-up within 2 seasons. He was never going to recapture the form at Spurs. As I've been saying for some time, he needed a change of setting. A new club, a new start.

Good luck, Robbo. All the best!

I'm actually very saddened by his downfall and departure. I gold my hands up and I say I slated him for a year or two on here, but I also always said he just needs to be dropped to give him a kick up the arse. After last season, I think he'll be great at Rovers and may even win back his England place.

Always a great shot stopper, always passionate, always a Yid. Thanks Robbo.

What i meant to say is that i feel like how i imagine it would feel to take a huge steamy shit after being constipated for months. OOOOOooooohhhhh WHAT A RELIEF IT IS!

People have VERY short memories around here. Robinson has been complete shit for the past 2 seasons. He cost us about 25 points last season all by himself.

The infantile revisionist-history worship of Robinson by the sheep around here is laughable because its so completely ridiculous. Everyone else is to blame for Robinson except Robinson - save the bullshit for your fellow sheeple.

I've never read anyone claiming Robinson is a bad person, so why keep going on about him being a nice guy?

He is a bad goalkeeper and we were lucky to get anything for him. That said, I hope he regains his confidence before he slips down to the Conference, because that's where he's headed in a few years if he continues his shitty form from the past 2 seasons.

Again, good luck Paul Robinson -you'll need it.

Why am I the only one who sees the silver lining in all this? Now, Didier Zokora has an excellent chance of scoring some goals for Tottenham. I know he can't wait to play Blackburn. Hopefully, Robinson won't have been benched by Ince yet.

joker... you should lay off the meths, fella - you want to accuse people of having a short memory, then conveniently suffer from it yourself, saying his last two seasons were awful (and, as with most Robbo bashers, ignoring the hundred bajillion other factors that have lead to his loss of form and confidence) when the season before he was outstanding, became one of the youngest England keepers i can remember and now, still 3 or 4 years off of what could be considered his peak, you write him off.

In this case, most Spurs fans have perfect vision, you wear bi-focals.

When Rovers come to visit and Robbo is stopping everything we can throw at him, will you be back here acknowledging that you talked out of your chuff?

See, I don't agree with you there, yes when he first joined us he was quality, I was telling all my friends he was the best keeper in the league and the bargain of the decade! But still you have to admit that especially last season, he was aliability at times and cost us rather than gained us points over the season.

Granted he wasn't helped by an ever changing defence (and a dodgy one at times), but your point that there were a bajillion other factors that led to his loss of form and confidence is kind of neither here nor there because even though it may be true you can just excuse someone for poor form because of mitigating factors. Especially not over a whole season. People saying 'oh well it all started when the press got on his back after the Croatia game', well, maybe it did but that was 2 years ago, get over it.

So whilst irrational Robbo-bashing is just silly because we've seen how good he can be, well, so are those people with rose-tinted glasses who likewise can't admit his faults because he's a nice guy, or whatever. If he'd stayed I'd have been happy for him to try and regain his place but the honest truth is that he could and hopefully has been improved on.

Still, he's a good guy and I wish him all the best.
