Why do we always get lumped with him as commentator? Hes about as insightful as an amoeba. He can't even say our name right. Tottenham Hotspurs.

met him once at a spurs dinner dance and he was the rudest person. i asked for a photo and he said "3,2,1" and just walked off.

He is not an Arsenal fan, his boyhood club was Charlton I believe. Met him a couple of times at the ex Spurs players matches and always seemed fine to me. Was an alright player for Spurs though, especially in 1991 as a super sub behind Lineker. I remember going to the Lane for my 12th birthday (i think) and he scored a hatrick against Sheffield Utd.

I remember that game too BBC missed one of the goals thank god the coverage has improved since, Walsh was my favourite player back when I was a teenager standing in Paxton......."he's got long hair but we don't care!" :grin:

He often commentates the feeds we get here in oz. Don't have a problem with because although he does us no favours he is consistant. He knows what it is to be a small forward and was obviously quite sypathetic with Jermain last night....knowing what it is o be on a dry run!
