Oh please let it be true. Just simply in the best interest of all parties involved.

Valencia and Milan would both likely be loan enquiries.

Don't think either team has the money to buy him.

Valencia might now that they have a sugar daddy, but you're still most likely right it'd just be for a loan.

He's become so abject now. I can't believe it. He was so brilliant when he arrived. Like two different players.

It's akin to how Wilson Palacios went off the boil - except he had a rather understandable reason for it. I had hoped for Paulinho that it was just 'burnout' but having hardly played recently, he really doesn't seem to be enjoying his football at all.

I wonder if losing Brasilian colleagues in Gomes and Sandro has made a difference to his morale?

Wonder if we owe money on Soldado and that's behind the Valencia interest? We've been known to try cut price deals when we're owed an instalment.

Still, I think he'd do well in Spain or Italy. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think he's terrible. Just not suited to the Premiership or us.

He's not a terrible player - he's been a terrible signing. Important to make that distinction I think

Not disimilar to the Soldado signing I suppose

Clearly talented - he has good technique and has shown an ability to make runs in to the box at the right time ala Lampard (just without converting that in to any consistent end product in a Spurs shirt)

He showed promise last year - I wanted him to be a success, I can see he has talent but he's be a woeful signing. Underperfoming yes, unsuited to our league and team perhaps

I don't know - like Soldado he's the wrong player at the wrong club and should never have been signed in my opinion

£16m and produced less than Bentley.

Add that to the £26m on Soldado? £8m on Vlad.. £30m on Lamela (who is still to produce enough to suggest he will ever be a success but I am reserving judgement on still) The Bale money was reinvested poorly for the most part (Erkisen a Gem of course and Chadli a solid signing)

I agree he has not been VFM. But if you asked me who is more likely to score when you need a goal Dembele or P-I would say P.
For that reason-because goal scorers are like gold dust- I would sell Dembele in front of P.
Tonight's game is a classic example. Fabulous runs from Dembele. I never jumped out of my seat once.

I
I have no idea how Baldini is still at the club
I think with the probable exception of Lamela all of those deals in the bale window were already identified amd Baldini merely worked on the negotiations and completed the deals

So he shouldn't be given credit for erkisen or even Chadli but equally shouldn't be blamed for Soldado or paulinho

If we had just signed loris, eriksen and chadli he would look like a genius they must be worth close to the bale fee now the 3 of them if we can get 30-40 mil back for the others it won't look so bad. We really need stop signing so many players and just get a couple a season who improve the squad.

Think the 3 would be 60 mill tops 20, 25, 15 respectively.(Although Lloris wasnt Bale money) But dont want to think about that. I think we need a couple of seasons of buying 2-3 world class first 11's then followed by 1-2 world class first 11's. Thats why i think we should go all out for a good signing this window, they would be ready and kicking for next season. Think anymore than 2-3 signings rocks the boat.

Did he pick the transfer targets in the summer of 2013?

Wouldn't surprise me if he suggested signing Chiriches and Lamela, but beyond that I have my doubts. Criticising him for squandering the Bale money seems a tad harsh.

All I know is that AVB has blatantly refused to accept blame to anything at spurs, including things we know were his fault.

So, by extension, I blame AVB for all the transfers - he was the manager, he asked for a DOF, he got it all his own way.

I don't think any of his now 'good' signings actually were any good under him, which is also odd. Poch has done a decent job with the squad an completely inexperienced manager (with regards to squad building) created.

I think certain players should be given more time it could just be a bad season shit happens plus it difficult to find goal scoring mids.

The players we should be rid of
Kaboul
Capoue
Adebayor or Soldado or both
Lennon reluctantly

I keep changing my mind....whatever Pochettinho wants.

Could Paulinho exit Tottenham? The Times is telling us that AC Milan have made a bid for the player, but it has been rebuffed by the Premier League side.

I think like Gervenhio at Roma Paulinho would be a big hit in Seria A

If Milan gave us a decent offer everyone would be a winner

We get a decent fee back for a major flop and free up some space in a squad that needs added quality. Paulinho gets his career back on track and Milan would have a player who would do very well for them imo
