Sky Italy reporting Manchester United and Juventus have agreed a swap deal in principle involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku. They say it now needs an agreement between United and Dybala for the deal to go ahead.

Close this thread.

Manure have definitely improved with this deal... Lukaku isnt that great and cant believe Juve had gone for it, I really thought they were getting Icardi.

Just screamed of Juve whoring Dybala out & so United jumped at the chance to kill two birds with once stone & offload Lukaku, whilst replacing him at the same time.
Our "interest" came about when they offered him to us and because we can't sell Eriksen, we never pursued it any further

Well isn’t that a surprise?

There was clearly a chance. Even JJ indicated there was, even if it was slim. But yet again, we are a busted flush in the transfer market.

Ndombele is great. But he alone is not sufficient to paper over the crack.

My heart is telling me to be patient. We have 9 days left and something may happen. But my head knows what happens. We sign no one and we are left short. Again. And the Poch rumours commence on august 9th.

I’ve never fully understood the notion.

We are managing to balls up Lo Celso and Sessegnon who are super keen to be part of the squad and work with our “coach”, as he is rightly labelling himself. Both are considerably cheaper than Dybala so how can a PR spin we are going to sign him and make us believe it when we’ve signed two players in the last two summers and we are royally fucking up the two that have been close since we signed Ndombele ?

Great signing for United, extremely jealous to say the least, even more painful knowing we won’t sign anyone as it stands.

I hate to say it, but i did say that this would happen. A team like UTD are still a big draw and have money to spend. We’re not as big a draw as we think we are.
