Am I right in thinking we'd only agree a deal with the club if we knew the player was fairly keen? At this point in the window at least.

History has shown that Levy/Poch gets the player on board and then settles the rest with the club. This is by no means "over the line" but I feel like the agreeing with the club part always happens later.

All in all, this is positive.

IF it's true and we've had a bid accepted, surely we would have already spoken to Dybala's representatives to make sure he's keen on moving to us? Will be very embarrassing if he turns us down after we've had a bid accepted...

One simple thing here assuming this is true that we’ve agreed a fee £62 mil, which it won’t be, WHY would one of the very best attacking players in the world go for only £62mil lol, he’s 25, in his prime and what 2-3 yrs on his contract , makes no sense unless Eriksen going other way. Dybala easily a £150m+ player.

Going the other way?....was it the way he took the penalty?

We could just say he wanted £300k/week wages so we decided to pull out of a move.

Didn't Shaqiri laugh at Stoke City's bid and was so offended about it being accepted that he left to join Stoke in anger at his own club?

But that has already been leaked to the press as an excuse from United's end, so I'm not sure why we'd go through the hassle of going through negotiations and rejection if we already know that he'll want that money. Just a waste of time...

I didn't know this happened, but I hope it's true, because that is brilliant :ROFLMAO:

That’s around what he was valued at in the Lukaku deal, and it’s the value that’s always been mooted. They need the money.

Every player is tapped up before a club makes a bid.
