They may well decide they don't need him now they've reunited Martinez and Lukaku.

Be interesting to see where he ends up. I don't think Conte or Paratici want him.

Yep. Maybe in an ideal world they'd love to have him supporting those two, but it would seem odd to stretch the finances so much (at least with regards to salary and any additional fees) for someone who wouldn't be deemed a necessity due to who they'll already have. It's already starting to sound a bit like they're only just noticing how difficult it may be.

I'm certainly not convinced they want him either but things can always change though I guess. I always personally believed Bissouma wasn't someone Paratici would go for despite how good a fit he always seemed to be and if I'm honest I'm still surprised we got him. Whether that still would have been the case had Mckennie been more of an inviting option I'm not sure!

Dybala would be perfect for us. He's such a special player. He could play across the front line and as a roaming 10.

He's also a commercial magnet. "Loves London." Could communicate effectively with our Italian-speaking manager. And is available on a free transfer.

It makes too much sense. Not getting my hopes up.

Would be ideal. But unless Inter don't come into the equation, I think we should just be more laid back about the possibility of Dybala to us at all. End of the day Inter are just dicking about and they will still get their men and we ended up with no one.

Which is an absolute anomaly compared to the years pre-Suning. I wonder what has changed in their recruitment and retention.

Happy endings in the physio room?

I am struggling to see why it is such a pull there. Yeah they are a top Italian club again but so are Milan and Juventus.

This looks like the sort of transfer United / Chelsea / Madrid / PSG will do. No fee but big wages but a star name.

Inter like to mess people around it seems.

Beppe Marotta is their CEO, he used to be at Juve. Paratici worked for him. He built the Juve team that dominated from 2010 to 2018 winning 7 league cups in a row, they even won the two seasons following his departure. Before he went there Juve hadn’t won a title since 02/03. The guy is a legend.

Are we not going for him because he is too expensive, he wants £225k a week or is it because Paratici and Conte just don't fancy him to fit in our system, or is it both?

Because he's dying to join Inter and Inter is making him wait. And Inter are pricks.

Just an FYI he doesn’t want anywhere near those figures. I think it’s more a case he would prefer to stay in Italy I think. But nobody really knows.

The constant links and "relinks" to Dybala is turning him into our new Leandro, imo.

If he prefers to stay in Italy (seems a lot of players do...something in the wine, I guess?) then I'm sure FP and AC have plenty of other irons in the fire.

Maybe time to move on for good?

Inter keeping Dzeko as they want a player not going to the world Cup. Could be the end of Dybala going Inter.
