He doesn’t blow my frock up. Watched him live against us and we played to his strengths which made made him look great. His finishing was utter tripe.

Rodrygo could be the one if Madrid have to sell to finance Mbappe's wages/sign on fees/fluffer

He was already mentioned before WLB posted last night so won't be him.

Felix, Willams, Rodrygo, Torres, Kubo, Pino, Diao and Guler where all mentioned and WLB said it was someone not yet mentioned so who knows

Barrenetxea is young, classic left winger but no real quality GA to back up being first choice with Neto, amazed if it's anyone over 25.

He ran the length of the pitch from deep in his own half and laid the winner on a plate. If that was one of ours, they have checked inside and waited for the whole defence to get reset.

He takes his defender on time and again and has been breaking out a bit over the last season and a half. He's well worth a shot. We have good players and he'd be another that offers something different.

The hope is that joining spurs won't turn him into a sideways pass merchant.

The injuries may be a bit of a concern if it’s going to be a huge deal but does seem it’s all unrelated. Think this is one of 5/6 signings we need to really compete. Still a lot to be done but a signing like this would be a great step forward and our financial strength is going to put us right in the mix for these types of signings.

Akhomach could be a possibility. Was at Barca and now at Villareal and starting to shine. Only 19. Good dribbler and physically strong.

I think another couple of dozen or so pointless guesses is in order.

Meanwhile, if you have anything to add about Neto, how dare you spam the pointless guess thread :D

Sheffield United left back Larouci has matched him stride for stride today, very very quick.
Wolves struggled in general here

Today highlighted that against a team where wolves had the possession and had to make the running he didn't stand out at all.
We need a tricky winger not a moderately quick one with no real skill to beat a man.
That's why I wanted Nusa so much.
Much better dribbler that can go both ways.

As said above he's a powerful runner but against a low block (which he didn't even face today) he'll be slightly more effective than what e already have. And I'm not sure that's enough to warrant £80m. (Or even £60m)

Don’t see it with Nusa either personally. Watched him again today and a few sub appearances when we were linked and you hardly even notice him. He’s young so wouldn’t write him off but he doesn’t look particularly quick or even a change of pace. The game just seems to pass him by. He’d be miles off challenging for a place here imo.

He has the potential to be what we need though.
Obviously he is not fit ATM as he barely plays.
