Peter Crouch was the option we needed today because Birmingham was so hard to break down. He missed a lot of chances though, Bent would have been slated if he missed those chances.

We lumped balls to him at 0-0 and he hit the bar, had one cleared off the line and then scored one, so I see no issue.

The intricate play wasn't working with their 5 man midfield.

wasn't the bar strike from a set piece? my stream was all over the place so i'm not sure

as for the latter comment, I freely admit i thought we were fooked without our 2 talismans. so happy to be proved wrong

I've been on alot of message boards and everyone of them had quite afew bashing Crouchy before he'd ever even kicked a ball

proved alot of the doubters wrong today with his goal and even some good defensive play

great option to have and we haven't even seen the best of him yet

bollox to that the mans presence was immense today, contributed greatly to the win, anyone who has anything bad to say about his performance today obviously just doesn't like him for none footballing issues
