Whatever song we go for we have to get some drummers in the kop stand. Didn't someone on here do the olympics?

How about something a little different

This will give the team a kick up the arse when needed on a cold and wet winters evening.

I have a few suggestions.

This one because of our avian connection, and it could form part of the warm up:

Or maybe this one as it's more relevant (chicken badge):

Or this one as it sounds a bit like McNamara's band (the lyrics are actually extremely Spursy):

That may be the Genesis of it but it's pretty much an accepted Spurs song nowadays and it's identification as such is pretty widespread.

I do think, however much I love the it, that it's probably a bit too slow and bittersweet in style for pre match though.
Just scanned your response and thought you were suggesting a Genesis song to run out to. In consideration of our reputation for choking, which will hopefully soon be history, I would suggest 'Throwing It All Away'.

My suggestion, to further wind up the West Ham fans, would be something by Iron Maiden (Their bass player is a huge celeb hammers fan), 'Phantom Of The Opera' perhaps.

"We take no prisoners
And we eat the wounded"

That should suitably put the sh*ts up the oppos walking out on to the pitch :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

I wonder why we never hear it sung at the Lane though. Heard on TV that they sung it at the Inter game in Oslo, which was nice to hear.

I've heard little pockets singing it at the Lane. More of a sing in the pub song than a sing at the match song though really.

Can almost picture Poch doing the voiceover as part of his team talk or talking to the Sky-4

I've heard can't smile without you at the lane when it's 1882. Just makes complete sense to me and didn't think it was that niche to be fair.
