Like the look of him based on the YouTube videos.

Perisic Hincapie Romero Bremer Spence

Strong when you consider we would have Sessegnon Davies Dier Sanchez Doherty for competition
We’ve been told Doherty would be first choice and that spence would need to develop and prove himself.

as much as we all love romero, he is absolutely not at all suited to taking on dier's role playing in the centre of a back 3

And do you know who is suited to that role? Dier.

I really don't know why so many are happy to replace him in the starting 11 when we've finally found a system and coach who plays to his strengths, he was an absolute beast under Conte last season. His passing could do with some work admittedly, but there is absolutely no guarantee anyone will come in and do any better.

completely agree

he probably had the best stretch of form in his career in the second half of last season and by all reports is a really solid leader in that defensive group. you don't just cast that sort of thing away on a whim

We don't need to replace him but we definitely need a viable alternative. We looked much ropier when Dier was out at the start of the year compared to when Romero was out. I think the role suits a more senior player. I could see us going for De Vrij later in the window for this reason.

This lad will go on to be a top, top footballer. Absolutely no way will I be disappointed if we pick him up. Fits the profile we should be looking at. Hincapie and Bremer for potentially less that one Gvardiol or Bastoni is fine by me

But the only statement you can say with a hint of fact is Bastoni is our Primary target, the rest and how it fits is guess work

Based on skills, experience etc = the order I’ve used. We’re not going to make a player who’s only played a handful of games a primary target eg Hincapie.

As reported in Italy and Germany, both Milan and Tottenham were contacted by the Ecuadorian Piero Hincapié, a @bayer04_es player. Player and club, in talks to improve the contract. He wants to play in the Champions League, but the market is just beginning.

Milan are looking at him. Might get a quote or two about us though if we are indeed in for him.

Hincapié-Milan, name of Moncada. Valuation: 25/30 million. Not easy. Let's talk about it tonight on

I’ve not seen him play, is he further ahead than Juan Foyth was when we signed him? More potential?

Better to let an Italian club start the negotiations if interested. Keeps the price down.

Newcastle would have been quoted about £10m more for Botman if Milan didn't open negotiations for him.

Further ahead for sure. When we bought Foyth he'd only had 9 professional games under his belt.

Hincapie has already played 33 games in Germany on top of 22 in Argentina.

Don't know if this guy is any good at all or just a lover of unsubstantiated rumours...

Edit: Apparently he is 'the worst' - so probably worth ignoring....
