I wouldn't believe any of the reports saying we have just placed a bid. I feel this is one that we have worked on for a while and news is just getting out now.

This most likely is so far along now that it's most likely finalising the details on deadline day.

I hope we send Sanchez on loan other side with buy option to get Hincapie over the line. Top German clubs dont sell their best players on deadline day without much plan.

Any move has to happen tomorrow for Hincapie, we will have to go above & beyond whats usually required. So, I doubt it very much

If we get this guy then come the summer we will definitely need a leader in the middle of him and Romero. A CCB who can keep things calm and together. Not many that I can think of that could do the job, maybe De Vrij but people have said he has declined a lot. I still hope we go for Kim Min-Jae and just go ultra aggressive. Would be chaos but very entertaining haha.

Why? Deals hit the public and are concluded every single deadline day.
but almost never when a team has been fairly outspoken about wanting to keep a player and there really hasn’t even been the faintest whiff in the press about him moving.

not saying it’s not possible and love that the ITK are positive, but you don’t often get big teams selling starters at non-insane prices that they arent already working on replacing publicly competed in less than 24 hrs.

My body is ready for a back 5 of Perisic-Hincapie-Davinson-Romero-Porro. Just utter chaos.

Porro and Danjuma is a 5/10 window for me, good players but CB is such an issue. Get this CB and it’s an 8/10 or 9/10 because we now have the players to build to a more stable platform.

Yeh we will need another attacker, CB and goalie in the summer but for Jan a RWB, CB and attacker is pretty good and let’s us continue.

Not the case, VDV a prime example of something not hitting the press until very late on Deadline Day. Plus SSN/Journalists want these breaking stories on DD to keep the audience entertained and tuned in. They may have no idea we are even trying or they already have an incling and will release during a quiet period tomorrow to drum up some interest.

Porro and Danjuma replacing GIl and Spence is just enough to tread water. Under ENIC we really need to start increasing the rate of churn in the squad - the rate of investment is too slow at the moment. By the time we strengthen in one area, another one needs addressing and there's constantly gaps. Pick a manager, stick with them, and give them 4 transfer windows of sustained backing. It's not so difficult.

Oh I agree in that but 3-4 good signing per window will get us up to the level over 1-2 years. We are still paying for not backing Poch then scouting poorly when we finally did try and back him. The quality of signings since Paratici has come in has been far better.

Vdv was only offered to us in the afternoon on deadline day iirc.
