I'm watching all the Spurs chants, hilarious! I love them all so far. Why call dem Westham noobs Pikey boys? Trying to gain knowledge here. Whats up with that?
All joking aside, and not that it's got much to do with West Ham, the romany gypsys that used to be over on the eastway were sound as a pound.
It's the Irish knackers that are the trouble.

You can't use that term in Ireland. Derogatory.
When I first heard the term I thought it was after Pike in Dad's Army and his claret and blue scarf.
It's a word that definitely has racist connotations and yet seems to be widely used. I'd avoid it if I were you @randomspurfan.I wish that were so. Please forgive the (non-personal) rant, but I find the term a massive turn-off. Hitler, of course, 'knew' what to do with 'them'. Along with the other 'Others', gays and jews. The irony of a club associated with jewish support engaged in this is beyond comprehension. I have a particular interest as we have traveller heritage and my wife has worked with travellers too. In the age of Trump, I suppose none of us should be surprised I guess!
I'm surprised anyone still uses the insult pikey in this day and age
Discrimination against travellers is still seen as harmless banter. Similar to how black and Asian people were viewed by some back in the 70’s I guess. It’s simple racism at the end of the day.
