Apparently a Cameroonian playing a match in Algeria has died after being hit by a fan thrown object.

Shocking news and surely, and rightfully, will lead to much more stringent punishments for such fan behaviour.

I read this earlier today and was absolutely appalled. Terrible thing to happen, such a dreadful shock for his family. I agree there has to be tough punishment for the person who did this. I hope they will find him soon.

You have to have excellent security and cams on the whole stadium and make sure you catch anyone throwing anything on the pitch before they leave. The punishment has to be severe enough to put people off.

Can they put that in place in somewhere like Algeria though? They haven't got the same funds that we have over here.
