This wasn't a good month, but for some reason it feels like we've just gone through a good month. This is purely down to the fact that we beat Arsenal and Chelsea in the same week. Those were the only 2 wins this month. We lost against Man Utd at Old Trafford and before the London derbies we went out of the FA CUP after a disappointing game against Pompey and lost 3-1 to Sunderland.

But we're still fourth and that was something special about those 2 WHL wins that makes up for the other games.

Gareth Bale won the March poll, his 3rd in a row. Jake Livermore won 5th place with a fantastic display against Stoke. Here are top 5 players from the March POTM poll:

1. Gareth Bale - 180 votes (72.00%)
2. Roman Pavlyuchenko - 39 votes (15.60%)
3. Michael Dawson - 10 votes (4.00%)
4. Eidur Gudjohnsen - 6 votes (2.40%)
5. Jake Livermore - 3 votes (1.20%)

Voters: 250

Gomes for me, 2 penalty saves at Sunderland, won us the game against Arsenal with 3 ridiculous saves, 1 great save from Lampard and had a decent game last week up at Old Trafford.

I know Bale won POTM for the entire league, he was great in the 2 wins, but anonymous at Sunderland and had a poor game against Utd.

1. Gomes
2. Modric
3. Bale

Heurelho does it for me, his world class saves against Arse anal were worth their weight in gold particularly as we hadn't beaten them for donkey's years.....

So who's been voting for Bale?

I know he got the award but Gomes deserves it just that little bit more for me.
