YP Lee's treatment was poor - by fans and managers. And as someone else said, Jol's idiotic preference for Brown over Mendes and Mendes's subsequent departure was annoying as well.

Player wise, RSol and Berbatov stick out for me. RSol for what he did and Berbatov for refusing to play for us.

I didn't mind him going to Man Utd. We were mid table at best and had already sold Keane to Liverpool. But refusing to play for us until we let him go? Scandalous.

But Arnesen leaving was a huge shocker as we'd finally started going places. Not that I mind it now of course...

2) campbell (*****, i f*ckin hate this man, because i loved this man!)

3) ginola (treated disgracefully by the club, even asked sugar to tell graham to keep him :( wonderful player)

4) berba (silly boy, we adored him)

We always have made a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot...

Richard Gough, Chris Waddle and Neil Ruddock spring to mind.....

So many I was gutted about and most have been mentioned.
Hoddle was the first and hurt the most because I worshipped him. He was the player that every Spurs fan dreamed of emulating when they played.

Judas is a no brainer but that was more pure seething anger and hatred for the robbing Bastard.

The one that keeps jumping to mind though is one that more than a few of oyu will disagree with. Chris Armstrong. This poor guy was one of thoseSpurs players that got made into a scapegoat and was screwed from that point onwards. He played half a season with a groin injury, never made an issue of it, suffered a big drop in form as a result and got crucified for it. Once he'd had the op, and got his form back, he banged them in for fun.
But by then he didn't care because of the way he was treated.

I was gutted for the guy and hated to see him go.

A few have mentioned Hoddle, but hoddle was so loyal to us year in year out, that when he eventually left to fulfill his dream of playing abroad, though it was sad, left with the fans total blessing,we were sort of happy for him.
I will never forget him crying at wembley 87 whilst going down the tunnel as we all sang his name, we had just lost the FA cup but all stayed to chant him off...true legend.

I remember when I was 7 years old in Tenerife sitting by the pool and suddenly my sister comes running out of the apartment in floods of tears wailing 'we've bloody sold Chris Waddle!' and running over to my dad and hugging him. This was swiftly followed by hearing my mum scream 'Oh no! Not Chris!'

Poignant moment and representitive of how fucking cool my family is.

RSOL- Lying toe-rag
KEANE- Could have been a legend. No-one to blame but himself

The Oldies
1.Alfie Conn - Who?
2.John Lacey - Useless beyond belief !!!
3.Willie Young - Useless and ginger !!!

A bit more up to date:
1. Berbatoss - too sulky for words
2. Keane - from hero to zero in half a season.
3. Hutton - a full back who cannot defend - what's the point.
4. RSol - nothing more to say !!!! :eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg:

Berbatov because I hate United and Ferguson and the whole way it was handled. We were held to ransom by the player and the deal was done by the back door. The same with Keane to Liverpool. Two players who I worshipped totally turned their backs on our great club.
On the up side, I was delighted that Levy held out to get the best possible price out of those scumbags!
I want him to go one better now and make sure Modric doesn't leave. Modders is a different class of man though, so I don't think it will happen this season.

For me sheringham was such a gutter I loved and worshipped him, I can't actually blame him for moving on and trying win medals he deserved it but was horrible.

Keano is probably second mainly because he seemed to bleed blue and White and I thought he had finally found his home at spurs, I always thought he would go on to be a true legend not now he blew it.

Neil ruddock was bad as well, he was a monster of a cb and was so dominant I think this really hurt us.

The Carrick sale was hard to take and obviously sol was tough but watching his mental anguish over the years has softened the blow..

Jimmy Greaves, it was like having my heart ripped out, I stopped collecting programs, took down my posters.

Best moment was John Platts testominal and Jimmy played for the first half against the scum. He hit/chipped a ball from outside the 18 it went over hitting the Bar on the way.

Next worst moment he did not come out for the second half last time I ever saw him play. Greatest player this country ever produced in my life time

Ruddock is a good shout, at a time where we only and a couple of decent players surrounded by shite it was gutting to see him sold to Liverpool.

Kanoute as well was a great call, I still am mystified as to why we kept Mido and let Kanoute go.

Agree with top two, and would add Sheringham and Ginola. Ginola was the worst because it was self inflicted and having just signed Webwov made no sense. Carrick also as we had just got good again and he was central to that.

Berba not so much as we had the whole summer to get used to it.

though he didnt bugger off til 3games into the seaseon!

Gough, Thorsvedt and Klinsman.

Actually there are many more, Hoddle, waddle, Clive Allen, Ginola, Berba and so on but those three made me feel like crap. I was onlt nine when Gough left and I still remember it. I cried a little.......
