Fuck me, 2 bad games and he's wrote off again. He's been very good since Conte arrived, anyone saying differently here is talking through their arses. The last 2 matches he has been poor, maybe that's because Romero's came back in, Dier out etc. Let's give him a few more games before writing off again.
Seriously did Romero push him over against Southampton and Did Romero give him the call to play a weak ball straight to the Wolves player. Agree up until these two games he has been decent but the poor performances in the last two games are down to Davies alone. Really should have been him dragged today not Sess.

He’s mince and he always has been,we’ve too many below average players and when they reach the heady heights of just above average the fan base sing their praises saying they’re reborn under Conte ffs. You can’t hide good players and you sure can’t hide bad ones.

Wrote off or not. He isn't good enough never has been.

He's an steady-eddy guy who is very average at best, people saying most improved player under Conte? You're having a laugh. He does nothing "Good" it's all very average to poor. Defending, attacking, passing, you name it.

He plays his best position now because we play 3ATB and now suddenly is a starter, becase he's the only one who can play that position. Same can be said about Moura and Winks. There's something really wrong about that and just shows how we far we have fallen.

If we played 4ATB he would never get games.

Big upgrade needed.

Winks ok, but you’re spouting rubbish regarding Moura and Davies

Unfortunately steady-eddy and average is an improvement on absolutely-fucking-rubbish which a fair few of our players are. He may not be world class but he's far from our biggest issue right now.

OK.

Moura and Davies are now guaranteed starters for us, and at best before they have been squad players not playing much.

How does that sound? How's that rubbish? You think that's because they have improved?

He is definitely making a play for absolutely f***ing rubbish and moving up the list of issues right now.

He shouldn’t ever be starting games for us. He’s pretty much always been a back up and now he’s a starter, shows how much the club has declined.

Next season for sure he won’t be getting games. At least I hope so.

2 bad games, the revisionism ?

He’s had 3 stinkers just against Chelsea ffs, then you can add Wolves, Southampton, Leicester, Liverpool, Brentford and Leeds

He probably isn't good enough to start. As long as he's in this role he will be good but never great. Having said that, selling him would be silly. Under Conte he's proven himself to be better than Sanchez and Tanganga at least.

How’s he gone from reliable under conte to this Absolute mess all of a sudden
He didn't. He was good for a couple of games and then went back to his old self but for some reason people want to defend him more than they would others. This is his whole career. Good in 25% of games, ok for a few and then just dross again. Same with Winks, Sanchez and Moura. People think that despite what we've seen for about 5 years they'll be a good fit for Conte because they did well in 3 games and suddenly they can be top 4 players. Stop being seduced by short-lived purple patches and look at what we've seen for years. Needs to go now.

He plays ok against teams that don't attack or press us, which made up most of the contes early games. Any games he actually has to do any defending or has to play out under pressure he turns to shit

Even when Ben played ok he's always had this thing about him where even if he's not under pressure he would make a clearance or a pass and then kicks it straight to an opponent. It has happened countless of times and again yesterday leading up to the second goal. That's not dependable, you don't see someone like Azpilicueta do that and he's someone I'd call dependable. But it would be unfair to single him out because quite frankly they were mostly all quite bad yesterday and Wednesday.

There's a big difference between having a great game and being a great player. Too many of our squad are not in the great category and if we want to improve then we need more 'great' players in our squad. It is not personal, Davies by all accounts is a good guy and I believe he tries his best - but he is not at the level we need (an he's not the only one).

Played some great balls forward today. Started the move for the first goal with the pass to Kane and hit the cross field ball to Kulusevski for the third goal that got ruled out.

Yeah his passing was pretty key for us today. Every player is capable of having a bad game now and then, but think he’s good player.
