I don’t think so but I remember him saying something about thinking about it along with Dier, I know Davies is marrying a Jewish girl as well so he doesn’t eat pofk
That's a bit of a Hail Marry, my friend's wife is a vegan, and he eats flesh constantly, doesn't bother her.

This is the best photo I have of that cheat Thiago’s goal. Davies is being pushed a hell of a lot harder than Thiago got “pushed” by Kane. Davies actually pushes on to Sessegnon to regain balance in order to not fall over. Nary a look in on var.

Bump for one of our unsung heroes.

So reliable on the left of a back three, his natural position. Been a model pro at his time at Spurs, never complained if not playing but always comes in and puts in a performance.

Honestly, this guy has hardly put a foot wrong since Conte arrived.

Yes, it would be nice to bolster LCB, but I don't feel it's as pressing as it once was - if you told me we would start with him next year, I wouldn't be disappointed. It's the perfect position for him.

Great player, who has been a fantastic servant for the club. Really pleased for him

He's turned out to be a much, much better LCB than I thought he'd be. Really looks at home there.

Agree - we just need backup / competition. Getting a left footed CB who can play LCB or in the middle would be perfect and mean we'd only need 5 senior CBs overall - Dier, Romero, Davies, LCB, Sanchez. This would also allow Rodon and Tanganga to go out on loan and develop further (or be sold to generate funds for a RWB and a CF).

We do need another left sided centre back so we maintain our balance of Davies isn’t available, but for me I wouldn’t be looking to outright replace him as he’s playing very well there and it suits him.

Lcb is clearly his best position. Makes the most of his positives (nice left foot, all-round steady player) and hides his biggest weakness (the obvious one but he's actually quick for a cb).

I’d still prefer to sign a potential elite CB to play there next season. I just think against the very best sides he may be found a little bit wanting.

That said he’s been a revelation in that position to be honest. Can’t fault him at all.

I think he's a round peg in a round hole there. At FB he lacked the pace and delivery to get forward and back, and at CB he lacked height and a bit of aggression. This position is perfect. Clever interceptions and shutting down passing corridors, calm in possession, and a little bit dangerous on the 'underlap'. He doesn't have to cover acres of ground either.

totally. half a full back, half a centre back. He's ridiculously well suited to the role.

He'd hardly put a foot wrong before Conte arrived.

People just got on his case because he didn't swashbuckle up and down the line like Reguilon does.

Making stuff up, like "no end product", even though he'd previously proven to be one of our top assisters in the 2017/18 season.

The guy oozes intelligence & has a calmness that just HAS TO help players around him. He's never really had the appreciation he deserves, just like Dier.

He's a fantastic squad player who never moans about lack of game time. He just gets on with his job. We're lucky to have him!

Is that now 2 back to back errors in games that have led to goals? Very concerning that he's our only LCB and he seems to be making these unforced errors in dangerous positions.
