To be fair there’s a whole community of posters who do this. Just most of them aren’t kind enough to leave a follow up email address.

From the outside it can come across a bit like a group of addicts terrified of upsetting the local dealer in case they withhold their next fix.

Or a bunch of early humans petrified of the community doing something to offend the local rain god and ruin the year’s harvest.

Peta 23 from Essex actually married Mark Cavendish and there’s a great documentary on Netflix showing how well she supported him through some very dark times.

They take different spots. Gil will be competing with the 19 other 'foreign' players for the 17 spots available. There's space for Johnson in the minimum of 8 spots for home grown players as our 9 in that list include Whiteman, Austin, Sess and Spence.

This is the biggest reason why I think we are interested in him. You don't often get high performing young players that are homegrown so we will take the chance in the hope that he steps up. If not then he will essentially take a free spot in the squad to be a squad player

Brentford after him is not new. They been after him since 2021. Had Forest not got promoted a year back they would have definitely got him . Now I think he is too far from their buying range

Maybe because with the limited time it gets less complicated as we probably hope Nottingham panic a bit if they really plan to sell him?

My guess is Levy trying to push for a deal knowing Forest have FFP concerns. Given he is club developed, any sale on Johnson would be pure profit on books.

Deal probably difficult because we want players included . Also he is too important a player to leave at last moment. Every day passes from now, deal most likely won’t happen
