Showing promise but he needs to be more direct. He was direct through necessity at forest. He needs to do more
He’s right footed and plays on the left . Kulu is left footed and playing on the right .

I’m no rocket science but surely when we are relying on playing on the break this is going to slow our play down every time

I noticed during the game and then ange said the same. Most of the time he kept passing it back. Very frustrating
yep like an old school conte wing forward, get the ball, pass backwards. Lets hope for the amount he cost he can actually beat a man.

Definitely not match fit for 90 mins playing “Ange’s style of football”.

Not sure if it was tactical instructions, but he hardly tracks back to do defensive work; so many times, seeing him lightly jogging back when opponents have the ball. (Contrast this to Deki’s tremendous work rate in this particular aspect)

Was a threat especially in behind but we didn’t move the ball well enough to make the most of him.

He would have had a second goal if Hojbjerg could pass a football. Had Hojbjerg passed it in front of him then he’d have been able to run on to the ball and take the keeper on or slot it 1 on 1.

He needs to be more direct at times in 1 on 1 situations but this is the area I fear most with him as I mentioned about his dribbling ability before we signed him. He doesn’t really take people on much and he needs to improve this area drastically.

I didn’t realise how much of a goal threat he was, he looks like scoring every game so far, good footballing brain.
Just needs to get fitter and he’ll be a cracking player.

I don't think the wing will be his long term position. I think he's got it in him to play as the main centre forward eventually.

I think you're being mean. PEH put the ball in line with BJ's run to hit first time, it's not like he sliced it and Brennan didn't get a chance.

It does seem that he makes at least 1 very good chance a game, there's been some disallowed and a goal and an assist in the last 2. He's had a very stop start career with us too, once it clicks he could be looking at 20 G/A a season!
