His close control, touch and dribbling look exceptional. Exactly the type of player we have been lakcing for years now. Someone who can unlock deep defences with raw technical ability and skill.

100% a deal us fans look at thinking 'hmmm expensive', but then you consider the wage difference, the fee being paid over years, the young asset factor and the the fact Lamela is worth so little in this current market. Who doesn't love an out of nowhere transfer link?!

Yeah don't know anything about the guy but I do see reports that Sevilla apparently wanted to put a 100m price tag on his head after his loan deal, so he must be an exciting prospect.

If it is true, what a deal just in the fact that Lamela (thank him for his service) who has one year left, has stagnated, and is hitting his later years to be swapped with a 20 year old top prospect who's hopefully full of energy and hunger. I will always back those deals because they keep you on top in the future, even if there are a few that don't work out.

Lamela plus 20+ million means this is a pretty big deal given that a new winger isn't exactly top of our needs atm. Maybe we have got money to spend?

I think a new winger who can play on the right is a huge need, esp if we are going with a somewhat lopsided formation. Right now we have zero width on the right.

Lamela is worth 5-10 max, esp on the wages he has.

That was until I watched Bryan's you tube video - the guy plays like a young Messi! ?
