We need a player in his position. I’d prefer Sabitzer, who is two years younger and in better form, but I’d rather we re-sign Eriksen than no one.

Hopefully the Arsenal stuff doesn't ramp up again but still couldn't see him wanting to go there because of history and I'm sure he wouldn't fancy going from CL to relegation battle.

On the other hand they'd probably give £350k/week and a five-year deal.

I will be happy for CE to go to arsenal providing they offer him a 4 year contract at 300k per week. I think this will be the best deal for all concerned. He provided great service to spurs and deserves to be rewarded. I dont think he will ever replicate his peak performance again which is why a move to arsenal now would be great.

Hmmm. Eriksen alongside Hojbjerg with GLC or N'Dombele ahead?

I'd like Sabitzer to be fair and by all reports we're hot on him, however it does bring up an interesting debate, especially with our lack of creativity from deep. Then again, would he want to come back?

Even when his form fell off he still created 2 pretty good chances every game. That’s worth it when we look pretty hopeless on that department currently.

I don’t wanna see him anywhere near that utter filth down the road. It will tarnish my fleeting memories of him, and he will improve them tbh.

If we're able to do it, I vote yes. We're badly in need of creativity and we can't keep relying on Kane and Son to score and assist goals. Biggest concern is would he be able to regain his form and help the team or would we have another "Bale" scenario where he takes time to get up to speed. And in-case anyone asks, we have room for one more Non-HG player in the league.

They were on about Eriksen on sky this morning. He hasn’t even found a place to live in Milan yet, his wife is still in London and has recently had a baby. It’s no wonder he hasn’t settled in Milan. I’m sure he probably wouldn’t have moved clubs if he knew there was a pandemic on the horizon.

I'd definitely take him on loan. The numbers he produced for us were incredible and we need more creativity.

Even at the end he would still produce a couple of good chances per game. I think that is greatly needed around here.

He hasn’t played well for approx 2 years. I don’t think coming back with his tail between his legs is going to do much for his confidence either

I have been wrong before, but reckon we got his best years

Time to move on (as I thought we did a year ago).......thanks for the memories, and adios

I think a loan would be ideal. Opportunity to show if he can get back to the player he was a couple of years ago. If it went well and we wanted to commit long term he'd effectively be signing up to finish his career with us so no distractions about where his future lay which should benefit him.

The qualities he has don't diminish with age - passing ability, vision, eye for goal. I think he could still be an outstanding player for us into his 30s. Not bothered at all that he wanted to leave and far rather see him back with us than another PL club.

That can certainly play on a person's mind. Also, doesn't help that Conte isn't a fan of Eriksen. Weird transfer all around and I do hope we can bring him back, if only for the remainder of this season. Would love for him to win something with us.
