Been monumentally good for the last few months. A metronome in full flow. Best spell of continuous form he's had for us, and long may it continue.

A few months back I wrote on here that he is the most overrated player in the league. Since then he's made me look a right tit. Needless to say I fully retract that statement.

I hate to say it but I honestly believe he will end up at Barca in a couple of season - he's that good. Reaching modric levels of tempo setting now.

Needs to be offered £100k a week this summer along with Toby, pay parity with Kane and Lloris is a must. Those four players are the spine of the team from front to back.

We need to start breaking our wage budget at some point if we want to continue competing with the best.

I've heard this argument for Kane, Alli, Walker, Rose, Alderwereild and now Eriksen. The reality is we can't afford to up the wage budget to the same levels as even Liverpool. We just have to hope these players see the long term picture and hold on for a payrise when we have bigger resources.

Eriksen has always been a talented player yet has had a reputation for not being able to consistently deliver. He has to thank Poch for helping him fix that! Shame Poch did not have him years ago ... but then I am not sure there is any player he couldn't make better

He's now in fabulous form, which makes his performances in the first few months of the season even more strange. He really was struggling to get into games then and looked to be really underperforming. In fact he does tend to start seasons off badly before coming good (although this season he's become exceptional). I don't know what the answer is...maybe give him no time off or preseason!?!?

It is scary because the more I watch him the more I think he could most certainly play in Barca's team. His footwork and passing is incredibly neat and tidy, fantastic technique, great vision but also very clever with the ball. He shifts his body in a clever fashion and also uses the momentum of the closing player to know which direction he wants his first touch to go in, it's small things but helps him retain the ball when receiving it so much. He's also now influential in pretty much every game.

Vitally important that we hold on to him.

Wasn't there rumours that he played through the first couple of months of this season with a minor injury? That or the contract talks might have gotten to his head.
