The assist was sublime, its tough to really gauge anyones performances after the sending off.Lolmao if anybody else had created that second goal people in here would have creamed their pants, but because it’s Eriksen no one even mentions it. Eriksen has reached the point where his bad performances now negates everything good he does.
Don't agree there. He's best tucked in on the right for me. The cross he made to Kane that led to the first goal is something that he can do regularly that very few in World can do (De Bruyne is the only player better at it), but for the last season and this one he's rarely been put in that position. He's either been too deep in a diamond, on the left or behind the striker. He's too weak and can't protect the ball enough to ball in the No.10 role and isn't good with his back to goal.I thought he looked superb up until the sending off.
Interesting that his best football for the club came when he played behind Kane in Poch's first season.
Don't agree at all that was his best season. He's played well every where behind Kane, but do agree thats where I'd prefer him. He won player of the season in 16/17.I thought he looked superb up until the sending off.

He was playing off Kane as a second striker/free role in those early Poch days. It's easy to forget how good we were in attack back then, although we lacked a bit of pace at the time.Don't agree there. He's best tucked in on the right for me. Ndombele lost the ball several times today in midfield trying to dribble out of pressure. He is useless under pressure. How many times did he lose the ball under pressure in midfield today again? Probably close to 10 times. It's been like that for ages. He is so scared of any sort of challenge in order not to risk his dream move away due to injury that he just gives the ball up without a sliver of fight. He is still great when he is facing forward with time to pick a pass. However, that is not good enough.
Thank eff we had Ndombele on today who can not only hold on to the ball, but also shield/dribble away from pressure.
he was poor all match...Hoddle said Eriksen was poor all match. I’ll take his word for it. He does know what he’s talking about
Our first season we weren't the best. It wasn't until we moved Alli behind Kane that we started to start looking like a top four regular. I think as well as Eriksen not playing in his best position, he's missed Alli's absence the most.He was playing off Kane as a second striker/free role in those early Poch days. Huh?
Statistically you are wrong. Feel free to look it up.

You all are just seeing what you want to.
I watched the game not stats.
You can't say he lost the ball 10 times and then say you don't concern yourself with stats....
I honestly don't care but then go and watch the game again.... Either way you are talking rubbish.
How are those stats counted? Do you know? No, Every time today when he was under any sort of pressure he lost the ball. Maybe the stats counts some of those as 50/50 duels and not as lost possession, even though he clearly lost possession. Ever think of that?
Right back at you with the rubbish talk. Stats are completely useless without any context.
