This thread is basically Twitter. Including the emotional swings back and forth.

Don’t think that’s a good thing.

Polite request. Can we stop sharing aggregators and instead just share the original source? They twist it so much and take it out of context. It's getting ridiculous now.
It's got to the point now where Twitter isn't so much the problem. Everyone knows it's full of shit and everyone knows the accounts that are the worst for it. The problem is the people who keep on and on and on fetching it.

But short of banning Twitter completely (and my nutsack aches for that) there's not a lot to be done about it.

I may well be proved wrong and if so I shall willingly throw myself to the wolves at the end of this season but I don't think I am. Maybe, just maybe the stars are aligning in our favour for a change. (y)

Stick to Tottenham. Nuno left them for a good reason.

Most, if not all of us, hope the future for Spurs will match your optimism. Your posts are both informative and uplifting. Thats rare these days in SC

I just feel at least getting the original tweet or linked article is better than aggregators at this point.

I unfollowed & muted like 10-12 Spurs aggregator accounts and youtube aggregators account in Twitter on Friday.
Its been a far saner weekend than previous. Incredibly happy now
Amount of rehashed stories and tweet are so much...especially concerning to Romero deal

All that noise is now off. I am convinced he will be a Spurs player next week and only looking forward to SpursOffcial confirmation

Let me get this right.

According to most sources, we have agreed personal terms with Romero. We've been dealing with Atalanta for the best part of 3 weeks over this deal and now, Romero is only deciding to tell them now that he wants to join?! I think it's pretty obvious if he has agreed personal terms he wants to leave.

That would require an unheard of level of nous, understanding and care. From an SC'er glued to Twitter whilst touching himself in the toilet area whilst staring at a laminated photograph of a naked donkey.

Good luck with that.

Thank you for your kind comments, much appreciated. I am only too aware that there are members here who have supported this club for many, many years and are naturally wary of yet another administration / rebuild coming in. My exuberance is perhaps best explained not only by my previous experiences of seeing just what the new DOF can do but also the fact that his appointment has also coincided with that of a new manager.

I was nervous following Mourinho's departure that Daniel Levy would once again lose sight of what the main problem was in preventing this club achieving the success it so richly deserves and that was Daniel Levy. His desire to have a finger in every pie was slowly destroying the very fabric of the club and I felt the future looked extremely grim.
I too have many times been angered and frustrated by his actions but on this occasion the guy did finally realise his own shortcomings, accept he had been wrong and bit the bullet. Bringing in Fabio was without doubt a master stroke because it not only allowed Levy to return to his comfortable niche of finance but also gave the new manager a working partner he can now operate with on a level basis rather than have him feel he has to be continually mindful he is in the Chairman's presence.
I may well be proved wrong and if so I shall willingly throw myself to the wolves at the end of this season but I don't think I am. Maybe, just maybe the stars are aligning in our favour for a change. (y)
So many years Rom. Maybe yes, but based on past experience probably not.

My own personal hope is that whilst it’s taken a quite while to get the ‘super structure’ right that it could maybe be easier to get the playing side better. But no amount of bravado will actually replace the reality. Your exuberence is indeed commendable but we’ll see.

Oh and we do still have DL still at the helm.

Ideally there would be a Twitter-bot that automatically scanned a preselected set of Tier 1 sources for #thfc and related hashtags and posted qualified tweets to the SC ITK thread, and all other Twitter content was banned. Do I have the slightest clue how to do that? Hell no. This is SC, after all.

Hey, we aren’t all millionaires. Lamination is expensive.

To be absolutely honest I never read Twitter at all. I can pick up all the shite from it in here ?

Edit - lamination or not.

I'll see you "on the other side" at the end of next season (y). I'll have a pint for you ready, waiting to celebrate.

You are def on mate. I will gladly buy them all and then even more. I have seen so many new dawns. By the way I have missed 5 home (league) games since 1980 ?

I suppose eventually this has to end.

I get the reasons for delayed announcements to try and protect Atalanta in discussions for replacements but this is so fucking boring now. Real scraping the barrel updates.

Now that he has returned from holiday everyday is wasted between now and when he is in and learning what Nuno wants. Time to wrap this up.

With potentially 75% of our back 4 (hopefully) improved with a new RB and 2 new CB's, it will take time for them to galvanise. Learn about each other and about Nuno's tactics.

Really wish the transfer window was just 1 calendar month in June like in the Jan window. So that all squad changes are finalised before pre season.
