What I like most about Romero is the expressions on the faces of the players he's tackled. Most of them are still trying to work out how it happened.

He's a special player. He's got that art of making defending look easy. Romero is so in control of defending, especially one on one. It's very unique.

I honestly think he's the best defender in the league with the ball on the floor.

Will be a good duel with Watkins, I think Romero will be lining Coutinho up early too.

I think he’s my new fave player.

Weird how someone can be so in control, yet is also apparently a walking yellow card/suspension.

Weird how you always pick me up on my posts. You C***

Hope you're doing ok.

:)

Shit, do I ?

Sorry mate, I didn't mean to. It was more a general statement because so many have been saying about him treading a ban tightrope because of an inability to not accumulate yellow cards.

I wouldn't want him to change anything about his game. He's already bloody awesome, but as he gets more experienced, and his reading of the game becomes even better. Well, the sky is the limit.

And it'll be a matter of time before the People who are constantly cacking themselves about him picking up a suspension, are cacking themselves about one of the big boy clubs coming in for him.

We've got an absolute gem on our hands here!

I’m not saying he’s better than King, Vertonghen, or Alderweireld, but I’ve never been so excited to watch one of our defenders.

He is a nutty, cocky, imperious bastard.

What I love is that even though villa were playing around him a bit in the first half, he didn’t let that result in apprehension or hesitation. As he says in the athletic article, he never loses his aggression, and he makes his mark on the game in his way. Top top player.

So he's escaped a ban from yellow card accumulation?

EDIT: He has in fact, escaped the ban.

Sadly, the clip doesn't have the lovely bit of skill where he lifted the ball over the Villa player as the player was falling down
