Love him to pieces but the more and more hated he gets the more likely it is that his leg gets snapped lol.

I hate to be miserable, but I'm still so pissed off with him doing that. What's stopping the FA from taking action?
It was looked at by VAR. No retrospective action can be taken.

My only regret is that Cucurella didn't get hurt from it. Fuck Chelsea and anyone who plays for them.

If referees weren’t watching him, they definitely are now. He really needs to cut out the crazy and just intimidate the old fashioned way.

Perisic is still world class for me too. We have what it takes to win things now. Its just difficult when there's others who have as much or more. We really should be close to silver though.

I don't think their 1st goal happens if he is on the pitch.

A bit disappointed that our World cup winning captain is not organising things better there.

He doesn’t need to change at all. We need to accept that occasionally he will get done but that’s the price for having him.

I really don’t want him to lose that aggression.

He brings the much much needed tenacity we have sorely lacked for years to the team. Lamela due to injury unfortunately only drifted in and out inconsistently. Cuti's bite will engulf us (see the effect on Davies) to fight to the very last second. Personally couldn't understand why would people wanna take that bit of trait off him just so we play nice and tame while ending up not fighting or winning. It's a competitive men's sport, they earn big bucks and some are ego-driven, not some kindergarten games.

He is what he is. He'll pick up cards, some of them unnecessary, but every time he steps on the pitch his opponent will know there's every chance he'll get clattered. Take away that edge and we lose overall in my opinion.

Yeah I don’t know who needs to hear this but that was beyond shithousery. Thug behavior. And I actually thought everything he did before that to Havertz was walking the line perfectly between toughness and recklessness. Absolutely brilliant there. The hair pulling was too much and a suspension is probably deservedly on its way.
Have they changed the rules in recent years?
IIRC, it used to be that if a situation is written up in a match report and deemed not illegal or out of order then the FA won't be able to take action.
In this case, VAR looked at it and deemed it not enough to warrant a straight red so I don't think he can be suspended.

Romero has the chance to become our Sergio Ramos. A guy we love for his passion and for what he brings to the team so even though he will get quite a few stupid red cards, we will forgive him.

If that had been called right, it would've cost us points In the race against Chelsea. Had It been called a foul, the corner kick would have never happened. I cannot for the life of me fathom why anyone would see this other than a stupid preventable mental mistake and not try to coach ot out of him. I love the guy and he is on the verge of becoming world class but he is not there until he gets his mental game sorted. it will cost the team points in what will likely be a very close race for Top 4 and above.

Surely as VAR looked at it and decided not to book/send him off, it can't be revisited post game?

Historically without VAR, if the officials missed it, then it would be reviewed after the game and then action could be taken.

I'll be surprised if they look at it again when it's already been reviewed.

I completely agree. Dele was told to get rid of his nastiness and never recovered as a player. Cuti mustn’t change in that respect.
