it’s thing like this that make me realize that the media are good at what they do, spin a story for us to lose our mind.

thanks for the info H88.
They're not that good. People just lap it up and believe every single thing, even if they were told different moments before reading the media piece.

Gone very quiet on the Romero front. I'm hoping no news is good news as spurs finalise the final details without leaks. Then bang shiny new spurs player we badly need. COYS

Interesting we have now become admirers of Sven Botman.....an Atalanta target

Hopefully we are admirers of Botman and Romero as they would be a great pairing imo. I think Atalanta are in talks with another CB so maybe Botman is an option for us still.

Or we might be waiting on them to secure a replacement.

In most ways we haven't. Lyall just randomly questioned why no PL teams are interested in him then someone asked if Spurs were and he answered the question vaguely and now aggregators are picking it up as some new story.

This is the prime reason I really dislike aggregators. They fill the information void with supposition and a lot of mistranslation from foreign news articles, sending people into a panic. Also, prominent reporters of transfer info like Fabrizio Romano, who have multiple platforms for reporting, end up having their information rehashed several times by aggregators.

Tottenham's forcing to get Cristian Romero does not stop. A tough, tight negotiation with the Spurs who compulsor Atalanta several times a day. According to what has been learned from Calciomercato.it, the latest offer from London is equal to 55 million euros.

A monstrous figure which, however, has not yet convinced the Orobic society to say yes. From Tottenham comes the further indiscretion that this could be the last proposal made to the Percassi family to sell the Argentine central. After Alderweireld's farewell, the Spurs need a rocky and important defender and have identified Romero as the perfect profile to bet on. Obviously, at the forefront is Fabio Paratici, the market man of Londoners.

Romero-Tottenham, also Barcelona still in the running
The Atalanta wall, however, continues to make us imagine a complex negotiation. Also according to what our editorial team has learned, Barcelona also continues to push for the player. The Catalans could make an offer even with some counterpart, but first of all they must provide cash in order to meet the demanding Atalantine requests.

The fact is, that no matter how important Romero's path to Atalanta may be, just imagine that for the player the moment has come for the great leap into a top team of the continental nobility, after what was shown in the Nerazzurri shirt as a great protagonist. .

Wish CalcioMercato were a better source. They've changed our bid amounts so many times it's impossible to keep up.
