Looking forward to hearing further comment from all the pundits who had a pop at his age and how he’s “in decline”

Interesting.

Not sure what Atlanta stand to gain here? I may be a little off it, but why would Atlanta trigger the option to buy from Juve if only to loan him out without an obligation?

Doesn’t make any sense.
Cause they're probably 99% sure that we'll do it and worst case scenario they get an awesome player back.

Lets be honest, I dont think Romero will play against Palace or Chelscum anyways. Perhaps Arsenal. As for GLC, meh

Both would have probably played the Europa Conference game.

Probably just cup games for the, for a while

Probably a good sized loan fee in there

The Croatia solution is probably the best possible outcome in the circumstances. He will still miss a large chunk of the season with all the international breaks meaning he has less time to integrate.

It’s annoying in particular in case of Lo Celso, as he got injured soon after signing for us whilst on international duty and we’re the ones paying his wages yet seem to get less benefit then Argentina do.

And if Sanchez missing too that puts us in real difficulties at centre back.

Apparently Argentina and Colombia are now saying the players are expected to play the 3rd game, on the 10th. This will rule them out of the wolves and Chelsea games.

It's a joke, we should have blocked them.

I've sympathy for them wanting to play for their country, and recognise the players have been caught in the middle of this.

Missing 1 Argentina game and 1 Spurs game was a fair compromise, and only ourselves and Villa have even agreed to this.

Missing ZERO of their games and 3 of ours however is complete piss take.

Let the Argentina FA pay their £600k+ a week in wages for their games they miss + compensation to Spurs for any lost points and revenue.

Definitely wouldn't allow them to leave for any future internationals to red zones until this situation is sorted.

Pretty simple stance the club should take, if these countries renege on this agreement then those players won't be released for the remaining fixtures this calendar year.

It's a loan with obligation to buy. They could not sell outright as you can't (I assume) buy and sell a player in the same transfer window in Italy.

This is my understanding.
Either way it's a permanent deal as far as the clubs and the player are concerned so I wouldn't even take any notice of the loan details.

Whatever your thoughts on the situation we're being fucked over big time. We're going to end up missing multiple key players for significant chunks of the season whilst the rest of the PL clubs will no doubt get away with breaking FIFA rules and have their players available for every game.

If we're one of few teams to happily send their players off and it backfires then it's our own fault, the prem made it clear it's stance. If we've fucked ourselves through this then we're morons.

Romero wont play tonight or tomorrow early morning (1am) he is suspended for this game.

I bet United told Ronalado to take off his shirt in the portugal match to get him suspended so now he return back to scummy OT.
Its been a yellow card offence for ages now, its not something nobody knew about .... dubious very dubious
