How great would it be if this kid could eclipse Kane's goal scoring records even quicker than they were made

If he gets first team chances this season, he'll have a 3 year head start, technically.

Anyone else miss the days when someone under 21 could catch a break in the first team :cautious:

Quality of the league (and players at the club) has improved massively since the days of Davies, Etherington, Gardiner, the Ginger Pele, etc.

Very difficult to break in now.

More than anything it would erase all of Kane's legacy from our records.

From an unbiased perspective I think he will regret the move to City. He will probably win a couple of medals but he's unlikely to stay there more than 3 seasons such is the demands they will put on fitness and constantly delivering silverware.

I'd accept that more willingly if I wasn't subjected to players in their mid to late 20s who can't kick the ball at the goal without killing a pigeon or damaging Musk's roadster, or centre backs who model their aerial duals on the skills of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

It’s mad he could have 4 years PL experience and then be same age Kane made his breakthrough. Although most likely he will go on loan somewhere.

Just watched some of yesterday's training video and couldn't help noticing he still has the youth team blue socks. I'll have to look again and see if Nile John has the greatly desired white socks.

Let's not put too much pressure on the lad. He's got a lot of potential, I hope he develops well. We may have lucked out getting a new young academy striker coming through with the last one going.

Had a look at the squad for the ECL play-offs and it looks like Dane and Nile aren't in it. Does that mean they can't play in them, or do they not need to be declared due to their HG status and age?

Think they can go on B list

So Dane is obviously ahead of Troy Parrot?
I am at the other end of the world so I dont see anything much about either of them

Based on their preseason minutes alone I’d say Dane is ahead of Troy. I also don’t think the club would send Dane out on loan at 17.

I’m sure Troy will be back in the fold next season as well though if he keeps banging them in for MK and Ireland. He’s still just 19.

If Scarlett doesn’t break through this season I’d imagine he could go out on loan next season, which at the time he will be 18 years of age — the same age Troy was first sent out on loan.

The lad must have some serious talent

Good luck for tonight Dane (y)

Players that qualify for the B list can be added to the squad up to 24hrs (could be 48hrs) before the game.
