This guy needs to hurry up and get fit.
Had some great updates from the club about his fitness ?

I think people forget how young he is. He's only 1 year older than Juan Foyth and compared to how raw Foyth looks, Sanchez looks like a player way, way beyond his years.I'm curious about what peoples opinions are about Sanchez so far this season. I have a few mates who can't stand him and I usually disagree with them. Their main issues are positioning during crosses/corners but the main one is that he steps out to tackle a lot and then gets caught out positionally. Wondered what the feelings were from you lot.

Sanchez makes mistakes from time to time, but thats to be expected. IMO he'll be one of the best CBs in Europe within the next 5 years.

He's clearly gone backwards a bit from how good he was when he first joined. But I put that down to the fact he played a full season at Ajax off the back of a full season in Colombia with no break, then joined us, when straight into the team, then went to the World Cup. For such a young centre back, he's played too much football. Now obviously he's coming back from an injury, so hopefully that's given him the break he needs and he can get back to how good he was. Clearly he's going to be a top drawer centre back.
He's done you on a technicality there pal.I think Gomez is looking the full package although Gomez is 21 haha.
Want to see him in the back 3 again. Thats where he's at his best where he can just play clean up. Its too bad we've only seen it a handful of times thus far.

Works for me! If those three are fit I'd play that in most "big games".With son off soon we might see it again if jan gets fit. Wouldn't suprise me if we play chelsea that way.
I really like Foyth, but that's doing Sanchez a huge disservice. He played basically every game for the team that finished 3rd in the PL, and the year before that was a regular for a team that reached the EL final. Sanchez of last season was definitely better (more ready) than current Foyth.I think he looks a lot less erratic than last season. Personally I feel totally at ease when I see he’s playing. Foyth is basically where sanchez was last season even though I like him I feel something dodgy could happen any minute. I don’t feel like at all now with Sanchez now.
