Definitely best for him & the club if we part ways.

Think he'd do okay if he gets a regular run in a team somewhere else. Needs a fresh start

He would be perfect in a deal, as a makeweight. Depends on what league is the best fit. Think he would thrive in Germany. And do okay in Spain or Italy.

Sad he never really kicked on after his first season where he was pretty solid.

But time for him and Dier to go.

Will be great as it shows these players (and Levy) have finally accepted they need a move.

Previous windows it was always "x and y dont want to leave and want to fight for their place".

That way probably because we have been almost guaranteed top 4 or at least had an elite winning coach to keep the belief whilst the drop for these players from that was probably not appealing.

Looks like with our drop in position, some may have accepted that they need to just play.

Personally think it’s a shame hasn’t really work out, always thought Sanchez was a good guy, never appeared to moan and seemed to enjoy playing for the club

it’s the right time to go, if he does he will wish him the best

At this rate we will only have Romero left and I'am ok with it. New attacking front foot manager. Dier, Sanchez and Hojbjerg all possibly leaving and teams pulling out of buying Kane we seem to have an actual plan in place that aligns with what the fans want finally. Am I dreaming?

Was developing well until the Jan/Toby connection left the club. He's been stuck in arrested development ever since. Poor lad needed experienced heads around him to bring out the best in him. Time to move on for Big Dav.

He was so good in his first season, gone downhill every season since(along with our general fortunes I guess!)

He has to leave for his own sanity.

Good luck Dao

In 2017/18 (his first season) we had the 3rd best defensive record in the PL and Dave started 29 times. Wanyama started 8 in the PL that season. Dembele started 21. Outside of Jan's 36 starts and Dier's 32, the defense/midfield was a pretty heavily rotated side and he more than held his own.

He was also extremely important in 18/19, with the same amount of starts in PL/CL as Jan. Toby was the model of consistency on that team.

I get he's regressed, but I hate when people can't give credit where it's due.

Didn't suit him when all the low/mid block bollocks came in. I thought he did OK on the right in a back 3 but Romero tied that up. He won't fit a Postecoglou back 4 though if that's the way we go.

For how he reacted after the booing by the pricks at the Bournemouth game and even when he was coming on as a sub after that game il always have a soft spot for him. The stones on him to put in decent performances after that was admirable and deserves huge praise. Best of luck to him at next club

Best of luck to him. Never gave anything less than 100% and clearly gave a shit. Seemed to be developing well then undoubtedly fell victim to spursitis along the way. Think there’s a player in there who will probably thrive if the next move is the right one for him.

Absolutely. And he's done similar things so many times. I believe he has suffered immensely, perhaps more than anyone, from the lack of stability at the club.

I have all the respect in the world for him and wish him the very best.

When we signed him, he was obviously a player of some potential and ability. However, his career never really got going, and he probably would have benefited from a move long ago.

What is more striking, though, is that one could say the same about 90% of the signings we have made since around 2017. Off the top of my head, virtually the same could be said of Lucas, Aurier, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessengon, Clarke, Rodon, Bergwijn, Reguilon and now possibly Spence, Bissouma and Richarlison if they do not fare any better under Ange than they did under Conte.

Agree. I feel if we had continued employing managers that played front foot football we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

He never lived up to his hype. But didn’t deserve the mid game criticism he got late last year.

best of luck. Hope we get a nice fee for you

Definitely time. Shame it didn't work out as he came with so much promise. Hope the club doesn't do him dirty and makes it easy for him to find a new club, considering he only has a year left any money we get back from selling him is good money.

That criticism and booing he got last season still disgusts me. Whoever was involved in booing him shouldn't be considered a supporter of the club. You can consider yourself a pathetic excuse of life is what you can do. There was no justification in any of your actions.
