Ange said in his post-presser he thought Dav was good tonight lol
Maybe he's generally good in his attitude which I wouldn't fault at all and Ange would like the attitude to be first and foremost right and then he could train him to play the way he wants him. Ange wouldn't mind his players to make mistake as long as they bought into his way.

Sanchez is on the borderline for me, if there's some taker, just let him leave. Ange knew players without baggage is what can make them succeed here. Please let it happen.

Balls or stupidity? As a player you need to know your limitations.
You’re assuming that others were prepared to take a penalty. I’d suggest that if more likely penalty takers had been prepared to they’d have taken preference, there is no way he’d have been among the top five if others had volunteered.

A lot of overreaction to him missing a penalty here. He has been improved since ange took over. Does that mean he’s a world beater - no, however I would rather him as back up than dier. Rome wasn’t built in a day and therefore we have to pick each battle wisely. Accept we are not doing a Chelsea and playing football manager, it’s a lot easier to work through! This will take a few windows to sort out.

I’m sure he will go soon enough - but no one on this forum has any idea why he took that penalty. Maybe he was the only one who stepped up? But maybe they knew his limitations so put him in the middle so he no additional pressure on the kick? Does he have to go, yes, is he long term, no - but Jesus there are some ridiculous comments on here!

Started rough and obviously the penalty kick was poor but I thought he was good otherwise.
He was bad in the first 20-30 minutes when we were camping in the box and good in the rest when we at least were trying to attack as expected. Nothing new learned about Davinson yesterday

I was there last night, and my position almost at pitch level and on Dav side of the pitch, have to say when in possession you could really appreciate the options he had from midfield, almost a players eye view. There was absolutely none. The movement in front of him, no angles, no energy, no help, it was poor. All hiding.

That said i also had s great appreciation of their goal and the poor defending from him. Never got tight, and never tried to force the attacker to rush or limit his options.

To be fair on sanchez. He would have scored if it was Forster in goal. The amount of times he went the wrong way and was easily fooled is a bit embarrassing.

Because he’s worth double that
He’s only worth what someone is going to pay for him though, if we can get closer to £10m and factor in his wages @ £65k a week we’ve got to take it if the club are serious about shifting some of the fringe players or he’ll sign a pre contract with someone in January.

He’s only surviving because, clearly, nobody wants him
Would that be why we’ve rejected offers from multiple clubs?

I’m not claiming he’s a solution but the absolute antipathy fans have toward our own is ridiculous.

Sky reporting we’ve rejected an offer from Rennes of £7.7m. Why?!?🙄
Probably just a case of rejecting the first offer. Can imagine they'll come back with something closer to £9m or so and we'll accept but that's purely conjecture on my part.
