his energy, stamina, work rate is matched by noone in this team. gives 100% from minute one to the final whistle.
Barely by anyone in the league.

It's funny, he was resting with his hands on his knees like 15 mins into the game, after a couple of sprints in a short amount of time. I got a little bit worried, but then he just kept going for the rest of the game.

I honestly think he somehow just instinctively manages to block out the feeling of tiredness when playing.

He seemed to be taking it onto his right foot more often today as well, that's an improvement because he was becoming a little predictable in that he always seemed to cut back to his left.
Today was, for me, his best performance of this season.
Top class.

Just wish he had more confidence/desire to cross when on the run with his right foot. I've seen training vids where he is practicing this time and time again

Those who were saying recently that he needs to do more/doesn't do enough are funnily absent from this thread the last few games.

I love Deki. He's got an almost Cristiano Ronaldo-esque elite mentality and is growing into a proper leader. It's so easy to forget he's the same age as Foden and Saka.
He's not the type to get complacent or satisfied and I expect him to turn into a truly sensational player with time.

I love this attitude, traditionally wingers are a bit soft but he's got a bit of that dog in him - when he's having a bad game he feels it and tends to start making frustrated fouls, not ideal but you can tell he's 100% into it and isnt going to just let a game pass him by.

You can see it in his work rate too and how far he made it up the pitch to get to the cross yesterday - I thought vs villa we tired by the end obviously lacking the subs to inject some energy without losing quality, but deki wasnt taking the defeat lying down yesterday!

We have the speed in Johnson and Son and Deki compliments our attack well with his strength and ability to hold and pick a pass, we need that in the mix for sure.

Only thing that irks me is his cut in cross - seems to over hit that one a lot for something that is one of his go-to moves, take a bit off them and they'll be dangerous.
