Kulusevski vs Atalanta - 1 goal and 1 assist to win the Copa Italia final 2021

His potential looks massive.

I'm sure Juve fans get frustrated as they've been treated to some very special footballers over the past decade and Kulu is not the finished article yet, but I'm genuinely surprised they are happy to let go an intelligent, hard working 21 year old with this skillset leave.

Really happy with this one - think he'll be a hit here.

They did the same with Coman as well...and when he became a hit at Bayern they were upset in hindsight

But lets keep the expectation a bit down - Kulusevski did drop his level this season given he was not in main plans of Allegri. So, as long as Conte takes him as a project, works with him, he should get back to his 2019/20 levels

Yeah good point. He doesn't look like he's going to explode and become a superstar like Bale or anything, but I think he just generally looks like a good footballer and will be an asset to the squad.

Just need to be patient with him as he's still young.

One thing that I hope he can bring is the fact that he grew up in a very high quality academy with a lot of competition, and then spent 2 years playing under huge weight of expectation, and crucially, around other high quality players and their movement, so should understand the types of moves that Kane and Son are going to be looking to make around him. Also, a proven big game performer that can clearly do it under pressure. He really does have some major tools that we've been lacking, and at only 21 I really hope that he takes to the league as there is some potential there for him to have a proper stint with us if so. Signing Jack Clarke this ain't.

I think many more would´ve been even more optimistic (or ecstatic) about us signing this guy if he hadn´t been sidelined from most of the Euros because of covid. IRC he only got minutes in the last group match against Poland (came on in the second half) where he laid on two assists in a 3-2 win, and then started up front together with Isak in the 1-2 loss in extra time against Ukraine. He looked really good; still slightly rough as expected from a player his age but with obvious bags of potential.

Our Swedish friends on this site can elaborate about his talent and potential, but to me he´s a really exciting signing!

And isn´t it really nice to get a forward that prefers to be on the right side of the pitch?

Son, Lucas, Stevie B (and to some extent Sess - as well as the now loaned out Gil), all prefer/are at their best when they´re on the left side. Kulu can also do a shift up front.

What makes you think he’s not suited to the PL? I was thinking the the opposite ?
I watched a couple of his vs games which are a better indication than highlight reels and he often appeared to lose possession cheaply under pressure with his touch not being the best. And I see a player who wants to come inside on his left but lacks that acceleration you need to shift onto it, like Mahrez, Robben or Bale back in the day. I haven't watched much but just doesn't quite look to have the quick feet or acceleration for me, and he can look quite untidy sometimes. And then it's a question of what really is he? Doesn't quite seem like a winger, doesn't quite seem like a number 10? But what I did say and will repeat is that he's still a very young kid and there are certainly flashes of quality of that there is no doubt, perhaps he is a player that could improve a lot and evolve into a number 10, especially with the good attitude to work he appears to have.

I'm happy it's a loan with option and not a permanent deal for now.

I thought his touch was really good, especially with those quick give and goes.

He made very good chances for himself with a great first touch...saw that often and was impressed.

Not knocking the guys when I say this but he reminds me of dele.

I'm hoping that he turns up playing like the old dele we all wished to see again.

I love his goal, a caressed curler. Reminds me a bit of Salah (especially that style of goal from a leftie), but without the electric pace.
