Watching some vids of him, he rides challenges so so well and keeps control of the ball.

Kulusevski expecting to receive his work permit today, though Bentancur will probably have to wait until Friday.

Remember when Conte had to 'wait' for his permit before he could take training, and absolutely definitely didn't start work before that... I'm sure the same will be true for these two.

I'd imagine they'll still be training without a work permit, just not in any pictures/videos the club put out until it's gone through.

I always think its good for perspective to go back and read the first pages of the thread when we were initially linked.

Personally I think he's going to be a big success.

He said his favourite player and the one he models himself on is Kevin De Bruyne. Not really a winger as such.

Hmm I really can't see that comparison, to be honest.
He does however look to be a good player.. After all he won "Best young player in Seria in 19/20".

I think any comparison with Dembele is primarily down to him being a lefty and an ability to use his upper body strength to shield the ball. I'd say he has a better eye for a progressive pass too (which was one of Dembele's weknesses). It will be interesting to see where he actually plays though, seeing as he is apparently extremely versatile. If we had a better attacking option at RWB I could see him moving infield on the right and playing just off Kane.

They seem pretty happy about everything in this window

Makes me laugh, the guys they sell are useless the ones they have signed are amazing.
Bentancur played over 100 games for them in around three years or so, so he was a consistent and big part of a very successful side.

I’ll be amazed if Zakaria gets close to the number of appearances Bentancur did for Juve over three seasons.

This season both players have dropped off from the levels they have shown in the past. The main consensus from those that seem to know Serie A and aren't Juve fans, is that Allegri is trying to use both very differently to how they've played before, and that Conte's system and ethos will suit both of them far better.

Yeah - nothing wrong with a couple of blokes indulging in a little running around on some grass and having a kickabout while on holiday until their work permits show up, right??

I wonder how strict that kind of thing is, or if every club just lets players train in secret?

Yeah seems like Kulusevski has been used as a bit of a utility player under Allegri and, in particular, Pirlo. He's never really had a consistent run of starts under either manager - his best being a 6 match stint last season under Pirlo - and was used as an impact sub about 2/3 of his time at Juve.

We'll have to wait and see whether Conte 'trusts' him as his best form was undoubtedly at Parma where he was a regular starter every week.
