It's not to my credit that I can't be arsed to read the previous 27 pages but has it been mentioned yet how physically similar this guy is to Jenas?

The way he moves and his frame are remarkably similar and even his touch is reminiscent.

This is not a post slagging him off btw I know that Jenas divided opinion (slight understatement) it's merely and observation

In central midfield I'd still play Mason in front of him, but you want your best players on the pitch and Alli is one of our best players, regardless of age, so room needs to be made for him.

I know that Liverpool were in for him as well, but I'm just stunned we actually got him.
I'm amazed that the top, top clubs weren't in for him tbh.

Maybe he puts value in getting a game, whereas teams like Chelsea would put him out on loan before he even signed the contract

Saw him live for first time on Thursday and then again today. Played different roles but both very effectively.

Wasn't that impressed with him today if I'm honest. I thought he'd be better in the 2 rather than the 3 behind the striker but he held onto the ball for too long in the first half and was quite sloppy. Picked up a bit in the last half hour though.

Love the way he seems to have comfortably made the step up to the Premiership. This lad has everything needed to become a very special player and under Poch, I think he has the right manager to help him develop.
