So, maybe it wasn't Conte's fault?
Djed Spence is responsible for Djed Spence being a bit of a twat and not Antonio conte, no arguments from me there.

Antonio conte is definitely responsible for Antonio Conte being a bit of a twat though, so I’m not sure he comes out of this conversation ahead

Met spense a while back,

lovely lad he really is, I just got the impression his not mentally mature enough his to laid back, I’m not sure he has the hunger and desire.

ofc I could be wrong that was just my impressio from briefly meeting him, he really is a good kid, I just think we signed a kid ❤️

he also has strong family support lovely family Ange needs to get his mum onside
He’s not that young

Apparently Leeds terminated the loan . That info is from Phil Hay of the Athletic. Very well connected at Leeds and has covered them for years.
Dont need a plank like Spence causing problems in our club.

Doesn’t appear to be a trouble maker. Just sounds lazy and unwilling to show the commitment to succeed

I watched some Rennes games and he just jogged back when they were countered, our Barca preseason game when they scored he was jogging back, the boxing day Leeds game he was jogging back when countered (see another members post from boxing day)... there's a lack of application, attention, work ethic for the team , a selfishness.
After the Ndombele disaster this shouldn't have happened, especially after Warnocks warning.

tbh warnock is a good man motivator and sensible

what I meant was his Immature, mentally not 23 and I just don’t think he has the passion, fight, desire to make it.

Yep as expected attitude problems. Time to cut losses and just get his wages gone I think. No chance Ange ever plays him or even intergrates him with the squad if there's any risk of him endangering the unity he's built.

I could be wrong, but isn’t Farke the guy who sent Marcus Edwards back early from his loan at Norwich?

Looks like Warnock might have been right about him that he could go to very top or go non league and one of those looks alot more likely if Farkes comments are anything to go by. 8 games for Rennes last season and 7 for Leeds this season. All managers who aren't using him are unlikely to be wrong

That's about as damning as it's going to get from a decent manager.
Seems we're lumbered with another mutt.

Yeah he's massive on personality. He booted out established senior players at Norwich when he first got there and it saw them kick on and get promoted. As an outsider looks like he values personality and discipline in a similar way to Ange. So if he can't get a tune out of Djed, I doubt Ange will bother either.

Ange gave Spence a look in the summer, and we sent him on loan. I doubt Ange would be looking to give another chance on the back of being sent back to the club.

Do we have anyone coming in to organise our loans, because with this, Reguilon, Doherty and Scarlett it's becoming quite clear we're wasting the time of many of our players.
I don't think we're wasting anything with Spence and Reguilon, it's up to the players to show they are worth something or if not take a drop down to a club that will have them.

To be fair to Reggie he did a decent cameo job at Utd, so I would suspect there might be some interest. Spence is clearly a wrong-un and another Levy fuck up. I'd be cancelling his contract and reducing Levy's bonus if it was up to me.

Ange can't play him this month if we want to sell him / loan him out because can't play for 3 clubs in same season.
Unlikely to see him play in a spurs shirt again, good luck to the lad in future hope he doesn't end up mid 30's regretting what he did with his talent

WTF are "soft skills" :cautious:
Makes sense now Djed got sent back as he struggled to give Farke a decent boiled egg...

We all knew Djed's attitude was questionable (since before we signed him when he had that little exchange with Warnock on social media) but for a respected manager to come out publicly with that, the day after the player was sent back... not even a whiff of ambiguity about what he's saying. He's straight up saying Djed's whole attitude absolutely sucks. Big oof.
