That bit of defending when he was in the RB position, stepped out to the edge of the box and intercepted the pass and then dribbled past the half way line and got a foul was real top class defending.

He really does look the business. Surprisingly I was more impressed with his defending in that video than his attacking.

Agreed. Martinelli is a very high level talent when it comes to beating full backs and he really struggled with Spence. Showed Walker like Athleticism to shut him down like he did. That's impressive.

Such an exciting signing this one. Has all the tools to become one of the best in his position for many years if he has the desire and work ethic to do so. With Conte as manager he'll have a great chance.

He didn't take the photo judging by his responses elsewhere. He got it from someone, most likely with Djed's agency. It's a small agency and Djed is by far their biggest client so they probably snapped it and sent it to some mates on Whatsapp to brag/celebrate and one of them got on the blower to other Whatsapp groups bragging about the photo they got.

Really happy this one is happening. Makes a lot of sense given the need for HG. He has all the physical attributes to be successful. Looks very skillful dribbling as well. Will have to see how his delivery is from wide areas.

But I see Doherty as first choice in the near-term, so Spence will have time to develop that side of the game and learn what Conte wants from him.
