I've never hated a Spurs player in my life but this guy is wearing my patience thin.

Not sure what exactly he's good at other than running. It's no wonder the opposition teams give him so much fucking space, he's not dangerous.

The one "cross" he put in all game when he was in acres of space went out at the corner flag for a goal kick.

Nowhere to be seen on Robertsons cross for the first goal. If he'd even been within 5 yards of him that goal probably doesn't happen.

Spotted him at one stage when we were defending a corner fixing his fucking socks as TAA was running to hit the cross.

He was fine today. Defended well, ran up and down to provide options. As usual not good enough a crosser to be the option we need.

As usual he gets the derangement treatment. Bentancur put in an even worse cross than his and don't think Doch even attempted a cross despite being on when we had 90% of ball and territory.

can't wait until he's sold so the next scapegoat can come in to be torn apart by our shite support base ?

I don’t have any hatred for the guy, if we were playing 4 at the back, I wouldn’t mind him playing RB. He’s just not a wingback.
He’s definitely not the worst player to ever play for Spurs though??

Some of the fans were embarrassing today. The reaction to his cross was ridiculous. Dier got booed by a small number of fans after his mistake too. Like do people think that’s gonna help the team?

That cross was inexcusable for a professional footballer. Especially one who has spent ‘millions’ on trying to improve his game.

So are we assuming Doherty's minutes are still being managed by Conte?

Hence Emerson still starting.

I just think Conte trusts Emerson more with 2/3rds of the pitch.

But we desperately need someone who can deliver in all areas a WB needs too.

Come on let's be reasonable here. His shot away at Bournemouth last week ended up in the car park. Literally, in the car park!

So shanking a cross in the manner he did was somewhat of an improvement!

He is shit. I've said it a million times. Cannot defend or attack 1 v 1. Would get nowhere near any other top team in the league.

And it's for the Sess thread but he's just as bad.

2 of the most crucial positions in our team with some of our worst players we have occupying them

Started feeling sorry for him tbh.

He's not good enough. he knows it. we know it. he keeps getting picked which isn't his fault, and the home crowd are quite clearly on his back which must be pretty horrible tbf.

the best i can say about him is at least he shows up and is committed. it's not a ringing endorsement but about as good as i can muster for him.

For his sake and ours he needs to be sold in January. Just nowhere near good enough.

Conte has a stupid blindspot playing him constantly too when every single Fan/Pundit/General Football Watcher knows he is terrible.

Sorry but I can't stop laughing at this because all I can picture reading it is a bloke who goes out on the lash on a Saturday but still shows up for Sunday League every week, is absolute pony but he gives his all. The other players know he's shite but grateful to him for being there so they've got an XI out.

He looked a broken man after that awful cross. Confidence looked shot to pieces and he was substituted shortly afterwards.

Becoming a bit of a bad joke at this point. Literally every game our problems are the same. You could tell Liverpool had made an effort to target him in the first half too as they kept hitting crossfield balls to pick out Nunez in space on the left hand side. He is the obvious weak link in our team both in defence and attack and teams know about it.

Honestly - the best thing that could happen for us is that he's never seen in a Spurs shirt again. Doherty, Spence, Lucas, Kulusevski, Richarlison, Dier, Perisic, Sessegnon, Tanganga - at least nine players I can think of I'd rather see tried at RWB than ever have to watch him again.

Just watching Tripper's highlights on MOTD - talk about not knowing a good thing till it's gone.
