Going back to lamela’s second yellow, if the ref deems it intentional then surely it’s a red? Just seemed like an excuse to send him off

Seriously why are we not talking more about that goal!!!!
Because:

“He doesn’t have a right foot”

“He’s a walking red card”

“He drinks maté tea”

He was excellent today and, whilst he shouldn’t have given the ref the chance to send him off, at least he gives his all. This was a defeat way before his red.

One booking for winning the ball, another booking for not running with his arms motionless by his sides. Michael Oliver needs to eat a bag of Rusty screws.

Sorry but if you don't think it was right for him to be sent off you can piss off. This guy is a complete joke. I simply can't wait for him to leave the club. One day people will realise that only with energy you don't become a good player and you don't justify a spot in a team. This guy has absolutely EVERYTHING needed to be at least good, I'm not even saying class, but he has no fucking brain in his head. I'm tired of him, of expecting him to be benefitial for Tottenham, of hoping for him to recover and make some sort of magical turnover in his Spurs career. Tottenham has been very close to turning a mid table club in a real threat, but for signings like Lamela, players like Kane or Son waste their talent here. The moment we get rid of this cancers in the squad we will be able to challenge for a trophy. Today has been a complete disgrace. And don't say this is a post game burst, cause this game has been a mirror of too many years now.

ONLY energy?

Take it you missed his goal then?!

We could do a lot worse as a squad player tbh.

The great Man Utd teams of the past 20 years were full of squad players that had a lot less talent and application than Lamela.

We have far bigger problems than him imo.

Let's be honest if that's 10 years ago neither of those are even fouls let alone bookings.

Can't wait to see what this joke of a game looks like in another 10 years.

Never a red. Oliver's a ****

It wasn't a red, it was a second yellow. I don't care what anyone says, he deserved to go, how anyone can watch that game and honestly say he wasn't given chances. I called his red 10 mins before he got it. You can quite clearly see the ref telling him "last chance" long before he got his "second yellow" is beyond me. He scored a worldy, but honestly means fuck all now. Also I never agreed with his shit against United.

I said he has EVERYTHING to be at least good. But his contribution is a fucking disgrace. Dude please open up you eyes. Allowing this kind of things in our club is what makes as a "almost there but yet not there" team. I fucking know Lamela since he played for River Plate in Argentina, I have watched him play ever since . Don't fucking try to tell me how good he can be. Yet, we remember him for a rabona goal against an unknown team in the EL, for his (and ppl become proud of it) shithousery against Arsenal and now a rabona goal against Arsenal in a DISGRACEFUL performance where he got sent off, and EVERYONE knew he was going to be sent off like for 20 minutes before it really happened. Very good lad, with bags of talent, but will never be there. We need just need to move on from this
Jeez did Lamela sleep with your better half or something?
