Feel like his career stalled from bad loans (Burnley) and stubborn-ness (rejecting better loan opportunities) leading to a lack of playing time, rather than being an atrocious player. He’s got pace and at least a bit of trickery and a cross on him. Things like finishing, awareness, positioning and the timing of his passing maybe could have been improved with more regular time at a mid level club (or in Ligue 1 where he should have stayed another year). I’m not saying he’s talented enough for Spurs now, but i think it’s maybe a bit revisionist to say he never had some talent and some potential and couldn’t have been developed into a premier league player. I don’t think he’s that much worse than players like Stanislas or Redmond or Atsu. But he never got that lower level epl opportunity he needed to get consistent time on the pitch.

Lord knows what Nkoudou must do in training, he seems to show flashes of real talent in snapshots in games. Tonight, touches yesterday, the assist for Winks at Fulham... I get it, it’s like rating a player you’ve only seen a YouTube compilation of. It does make you wonder though, he clearly has some talent tucked away.. obviously mustn’t show it regularly in training as he can only get a place on the bench when we’re hammered with injuries.

Lets be honest he isnt great BUT I do like him... he will take on the guy and it wont always come off but there will be occasions it will and he will create like he did today and even against Madrid for Parrott...

Let’s be honest, Poch clearly doesnt rate him, he’s effectively sat unregistered/unused for two years. One flick and a good cross won’t save him, but might get him a move. Good luck to the guy but he isn’t Sissoko MK2...

As we've seen, other teams spend loads on agents, that probably helps for shifting people as well... Liverpool seem to get insane money for some of their average joes which makes sense in that case
