It’s actually pretty normal post by him
I know but his posts always make me lol
It’s actually pretty normal post by him
I would not move on from Lloris - but I would not call it laughable.
Are people still laughing at Pep for unceremoniously dumping Joe Hart before last season?
This is actually laughable
The grammar? Oops I think I am in the wrong thread. Why is it laughable £75-80m is the quoted price for oblak. And if you don’t think Oblak is on another to Hugo you clearly haven’t watched him much. Anything else about the post that’s laughable ?
Quite a few things like us doubling our record buy for a position poch clearly doesn’t think we need or the fact Oblak would come when he’s got the biggest teams in the world after himWhy is it laughable £75-80m is the quoted price for oblak. We spent £40m on a 21 year old promising player. I’d expect us to smash our transfer record this summer and be pretty disappointed if we don’t. I never said it’s what will happen. I said it’s what I would do and I stick by it. Also his choices are pretty limited most top clubs have a keeper. It’s only really PSG Liverpool and maybe Real, but no idea if you can go from Athletico to Real. How is buying a player that’s gonna save you 10-15 pts laughable ?
If it was a glaring position and the only position that needed strengthening then you may MAY have a point but we need to strengthen CM, LB and possibly CB, therefore we aren't going to potentially blow half of our transfer kitty. We spent £40m on a 21 year old promising player. What about left back?? If Rose goes then we need him replacing. As said Harte wasn’t glaringly obvious. Infact most thought Pep was bonkers until he got Ederson. Oblak and a top draw CM would put us much closer imo. That’s assuming no outs.
What about left back?? If Rose goes then we need him replacing.
What about CB?? If Toby goes then again we need to replace.
Dembele?? Same again.
The point is we already needed a new CM and if Dembele goes it'll likely be two. They won't be cheap.
Sessegnon isn't going to be cheap and he's unlikely to be a starter.
A new CB is gonna be expensive too.
This'll all likely cost 120-160m.
Then we seem to still be looking at attacking options too.
Personally if we are going to be splashing £80m on one player then it should be a CM who can change the game for us. But we won't be.
I'd also prefer to give Lloris the chance to rediscover his form again. Hart was making worse mistakes and more frequently.

Good read. To long to copy and paste it.
May well me true, however that it's pass completion rather than quality of pass. Its funny how everyone moan about his distribution yet he is second to Ederson !
Yeah but its such a misleading stat. Watching them its absolutely leaps and bounds, Ederson is another level to Lloris with his distribution. He hits balls long and accurately, like Toby. Lloris is like Bentaleb if Bentaleb was a keeper. Lloris is always looking for the easiest and nearest pass, and so Lloris just sends it to Jan, Sanchez and occasionally Dier, and maybe, every 1-2 games he'll send a short lifted ball to whoever the nearest fullback is. I'm not blaming Lloris because its very obviously a Poch directed decision because we all know how poor Lloris is at kicking long, but still it showsIts funny how everyone moan about his distribution yet he is second to Ederson !
